Was watching the start of Raw and maybe if someone here was at the show they can correct me, the piped in cheers were awful at the start. Reigns said something and this weird cheering noise happened that sounded like no other cheer and everyone in the crowd was just sitting. I know that piped in chants have been used for ages but it they could make it less obvious.

I haven't seen Raw yet, but read that they cut sections of the opening promo out, perhaps he swore or something and they clipped the sentence but not the pop?

I wasn't even thinking about the fact it was pre taped, they definitely edited it. My friend text me saying he saw stuff on twitter with people that were there saying they messed around with the audio a lot.

They should give Sandow his own "talk show" with Santino as his sidekick and Heath Slater as the band leader. Have it so that whenever a guest is on, they pipe in sound that is the dramatic opposite of the reaction that is expected.

They introduce someone like the Rock and the reaction is just a golf clap. Then later on they introduce someone like Tom Phillips and he gets the audio from the crowd at WM30 after DB won the title.
