Yes Reigns would benefit from a heel turn for a while but let's be honest, it ain't going to happen. Ambrose being 'The Man' could be interesting as the authority could never really trust him and he could potentially turn on them anytime, however I just don't see him siding with them at all. So.Ambrose / Reigns in the final with one of them(i'd prefer Ambrose) winning clean after a brutal match, then Sheamus appears with the money in the bank case and HHH in tow, after hitting a brogue kick and just as it looks like he's getting the title the loser of the final gets up and spears/dirty deeds him. The bromance still intact and the authority lose the strap for a bit?

I say, have HHH make Sheamus cash in during the finals match because he doesn't want Ambrose or Reigns winning the title. Reigns hits Sheamus with a spear but HHH pulls the ref out of the ring during the pin attempt. Reigns goes after HHH and they start throwing punches at each other until Ambrose hits a diving elbow drop on both of them. Stephanie sends down another ref, as Ambrose is crawling into the ring and Sheamus is getting back up from the spear. As Sheamus sets up for the Brogue Kick, Stephanie and HHH wrap themselves around Reigns' legs to prevent him from getting back in the ring. Ambrose rolls under the Brogue Kick, and then hits Dirty Deeds for the win. Thinking Sheamus won, Stephanie and HHH start celebrating. That stops quickly though, as they look up at the Titantron and see Ambrose being handed the title.

Sheamus being the authorities guy makes sense, it gives him an easy out of his daft look, if he shows up on Raw in a suit with no beard and his hair done right.

I assume everyone is agreed HHH man will win the title, but anyone could be his new chosen one.

I think there should be a swerve and have the authority losing the belt and chasing it for a bit. Have people like ADR/KO/New Day etc align with Sheamus pursuing it for a while, maybe even go as far as all names mentioned losing their respective titles and things getting a bit out of control until the top players are back.

The trend is that important things happen on PPV now.

Raw and Smackdown are promo's for the network led PPV's, so I will be surprised if they don't go down with a twist or two.

The WWE options are a bit limited. Without Cena, Lesnar, Orton, Bryan and even Rusev they are limited with who can main event a ppv.
If they had been built up properly, the likes of Barrett, Ziggler, Cesaro, Stardust would all be in with a shout, but they haven't so they wont.
Del Rio will be needed to push the US title until Cena inevitably takes it back. Similarly Owens will be needed for the IC. So it will be Reigns/Ambrose in the title match. I would love to see Reigns take a heel turn like mickeybhoy has said, but like him I don't think it will happen. I think Ambrose could screw Reigns without having to join the Authority, just become a loner, neither a heel nor a face.

The one thing I'm not expecting is a clean tournament win for anyone.

They may just bottle it and have Owens beat Ambrose, then have RR win it clean in the final.

I would need to be a pretty special match for that to get over.
