HHH joining the Shield on a show in Glasgow?
That is just wrong. He was responsible for Rollins breaking up the Shield last time and how did Rollins actually earned his Kingslayer monicker?
I know that they are waiting for Reigns to come back, and I know the WWE don't mind re-writing history but this is a step too far.
On another note, Kane, Angle and now HHH returning shows a lack of new superstars. WWE creative must push new talent. Relying on nostalgia is just lazy.

It wasn't on telly so didn't happen the fans loved it so was a good thing. you need the big names coming back imo build them back up to get beat of the future it's a long term plan look at how well it worked for y2j coming and going.

Jericho is 46. HHH is 48. Kane is 50. Angle is 48. Goldberg is 50. Even someone like Matt Hardy is 43 and he is really showing his age and has slowed right down due to a hard life and career.
These were all great wrestlers at their best, but not now.
What is the point of having Kane destroy Balor, Ambrose and Rollins when we know that he will be fed to Strowman and then Kane will disappear again.
The current plot line with Mickie James is her fighting to show she is not too old and she is still in her 30's. All the nostalgia stars are far older than her.
They are being rolled out for cheap cheers and nothing less.
I have no interest in watching masters wrestling.

It's a house show, Trips was covering for reigns.
WWE never acknowledge house shows. I actually thought it was a good thing as fans went home happy!

The headline on today's WWE homepage is 'The Shield recruit HHH in Glasgow' so the are acknowledging it.
I know I am going on about this and apologies for it. I know HHH was filling in for Reigns. I also am glad that the fans went home happy, but how long can they keep dragging the old names out and what are they going to do when they can't do it anymore?
I dare say Cena and Orton will be able to do this in a few years for more of the same old same old, but wouldn't it be refreshing if they didn't have to?

I do get what you're saying about the older guys. Especially with the younger talent, I think that's all on Vince and Dunn. If you look at trips he's all about investing in the future, Vince seems to be sacking the future off.

I think in the UK shows someone like Balor joining up for a match or 2 in front of the home crowd would have been great. I think sometimes Triple H likes to boost his own ego by putting himself in these big matches. A bit like him Vs Sting in Sting's first match in WWE when we all know it should have been Taker.

I tend to agree that if it didn't happen on TV it didn't happen.

The if it didn't happen on TV it didn't happen is a lot harder to argue these days as everything is filmed and reported by someone.
If it didn't happen on TV then Styles never defeated Owens for the US title in July at MSG.

They did show it on TV, the next night. They didn't mention the HHH appearance.
