Evening gents. Been a while since I have posted on here. Good to see some old faces still active.

I have been watching a lot of mid - late 90's wrestling ppvs over the past few months and it got me thinking. HBK is widely referred to as 'Mr wrestlemania'. So who are other with regards to the 3 other main ppvs?

For me, without question, my all time faviorate Bret Hart is 'Mr Summerslam'. The quality of matches he has had at the ppv is tremendous, in particular his IC title match against Mr Perfect at SS 91 (one of my top 3 matches of all time) and again the following year against Bulldog to headline the event at Wembley. His match with Owen at SS 94 complete a trio of terrific matches.

The only other real clear one I could think of was The Rock as 'Mr Survivor Series'. Debuting at the ppv and standing as the sole survivor, winning deadly games, winning the WWE v WCW match during the invasion then making a return to the ring after 7 years out at survivor series 2011.

I'm sure there will be loads of opinions and arguments for and against. All just a bit of fun.

Interesting one this. I never really understood why HBK was Mr Wrestlemania when the Undertaker's record blew everyone else out of the water.
I fully agree with you about Bret for Summerslam and then it gets a bit tricky.
I always associate the Rumble with Stone Cold and besides that, I really can't think anyone.
Mind you, I will always link Titus O'Neil with the Greatest Royal Rumble - the best entry to a ring, or under a ring, of all time.

I was the same with HBK and Mania mate but if memory serves me right, HBK got the tag or Mr Wrestlemania before the steak was really highlighted.

I suppose SCSA has to be Mr Royal Rumble as he has the record but there has been some cracking moments at the ppv, like the Titus trip as you mentioned 😂.
