Anyone seen Wrestling with My Family?
Saw it last night and I really loved it.
Well worth a go.

Now that Jimmy Uso has been nicked and bailed, who will Shane and The Miz face?
Vince stamps down hard on anyone who gets into trouble and I can't see him allowing the Usos to compete.
Best bet is that The Bar step in and lose again.

Except when jey got a dui before uso vs new day hell in a cell and they still won.

Have got a feeling vince will just have them lose clean to miz n Shane. Ad really like to see sanity get a bash and a decent run. There a good team dain and Wolfe are top wrestlers imo.

I'd forgotten about that Lantern.
I suppose it doesn't really matter as whoever they were going to face, there is no way that the Miz and McMahon will lose and mess up the match between the 2 at Mania.
Vince will be fuming though.

Well. That shows what I know.

Will the WWE finally have a serious rival in the US with All Elite Wrestling?
It has serious money behind it in the form of Fulham and Jacksonville Jags owners Shahid and Tommy Khan.
They already have Jericho on what has been described as a mega salary package, Neville (or Pac as he calls himself now), Cody Rhodes and Christopher Daniels. It is thought that Kenny Omega is about to join them and who wouldn't be surprised to see Ambrose rock up as well?
There is also talk of Lesnar testing the AEW waters to see what they have to offer.
They have a nascent women's division, though no tag action yet.
AEW sold out it's 10,000 Chicago venue in minutes.
I had long hoped that ROH would offer proper competition, but it now seems unlikely.
AEW has a different feel to it.
Of course they are still new and of course like everyone else they are currently dwarfed by the WWE.
But with the large number of wrestlers on WWE who aren't getting a look in, I can see more being asked to be released from their contracts and AEW could grow into a real alternative.
AEW also has links with NJPW and any proper alternative would benefit not only the fans but also the WWE who may have to up their act to maintain it's near monopoly.
I shall watch AEW's development with interest.

I loved the Monday Night Wars and any chance of a repeat would be welcomed with open arms.

For me AEW need to target the older audience. WWE aim thier product at younger viewers but is AEW aim it at older viewers they will do really well. I heard they sold out their second show 14000 in tickets in 20 minutes today.

Saw that. Even though they have not done anything yet, AEW are doing everything right, if that makes sense.
All AEW have to do is tap into the WWE of the late 90's/ early 2000's to have a ready made market, or even the ECW mind set.
Still wondering whether they will have a TV deal or just be on social media.

It is that time of the year again when we all think about the last wrestling year and think of our highs and lows.
Unfortunately WWE have excelled at lows but surely nothing worse than the standard of PPVs, the complete destruction of tag wrestling on RAW, the ridiculous story lines, the growing lack of interest from fans etc but nothing beats Shane McMahon becoming 'the best in the world' at Crown Jewel.

Highs include the incredible standard of NXT Takedown and NJPW PPVs. The way Smackdown has been able to keep it's standards relatively high, the women's division showing how it should be done, Daniel Bryan's heel turn.

But nothing, and I mean nothing can beat the entrance of Titus O'Neil at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Quite possibly the greatest moment in wrestling ever.

Well, a petty average PPV with a couple of rubbish matches (Divas was awful and Barrett/Neville was pointless) and some good ones.
I am liking the New Day more and more and Kidd & Cesaro are talented enough to be able to sell the match. New Day are the best heels in the tag team division for a long time. Be interesting to see how they cope at the Elimination Chamber in a cage and no outside interference.
I enjoyed the Sheamus/Ziggler match but this feud has now run it's course. Both will be in the Chamber for the IC belt which Sheamus will win. Heel champ for the IC while Cena holds the US.
Speaking of Cena, another good match with Rusev, but I wish the ref didn't have to stick the mike in to ask if either quit so many times as it interrupted the flow of the match. Of course we will find out Lana translated incorrectly leading to another match that the feud doesn't deserve.
The 4 way was ok and Rollins finishing with the pedigree was genius. What next for each participant? Ambrose, Reigns and Orton have all had protracted feuds with Rollins and need a change. And we are still waiting for the inevitable Kane blow up. I reckon it will be Rollins/Kane at the Chamber.
Rating for Payback? 3.5 out of 5.

His farewell match is likely to be against Corbin after the history they have had.
Angle to retire after the win, giving the crowd a good feel Mania moment.

I know it is far to early to tell, but there is also a decent tag team division lined up for AEW.
I really hope WWE take note and up their game.

It is strange that people are going for the pure athletes as the best around at the moment but Vince is convinced that bigger is better.
May be a message how the WWE are so out of touch there.
Don't get me wrong, a good big man can be the one to put the show on, but Lensar is no longer the answer.
