Bit dry on here lately so thought I'd ask a question.

Favourite Hell in a cell match ever?

I personally loved HHH vs Foley and also the Armageddon 6 way one.

Me, I really loved the 2005 Batista/ HHH. It was brutal and HHH put Batista over clean. Great match.

2.) 11 Jun 2017 02:01:18
I'd have to go Taker vs HHH, w/ HBK as special ref. at WM 28. I think it's one of the best matches ever, in terms of story telling.

3.) 12 Jun 2017 14:01:52
The original HBK vs Taker Badd Blood was great, I assume everyone is deliberately ducking mentioning Survivors Series 97, Brock vs Taker with Paul E was brilliant.

I don't think Jables pick from WM28 can be topped really.

4.) 13 Jun 2017 12:58:21
Badd Blood and Trips Vs Foley would be my go to Hell in a cell matches.

this is something I've been talking about a while but when do you guys think was the best 'missed opportunity' to turn Cena heel?

Personally I think it would've had the best effect to either:
Have him cost Bryan the title at WM 30. This would have arguably caused the most heat for him as Bryan was MEGA over at the time as we all know

Or

Before the streak was wasted on Lesnar, have Cena cheat to break the streak and cement a heel turn

Interested to hear your guys opinions as alaways.

Until recently. His character has never really had a reason to turn heel, since he's become a World Champion. In 9 and a half years he won the title 15 times by just being a dick and having disposable friends. It's not until these last couple of years, where there are reasons for him to turn to the dark side.

I wouldn't of had Cena screw DB out of the title at Mania, but if DB hadn't gotten hurt and they could of played out a storyline. It would of made sense to have Cena turn on DB later on.

I'd have Cena turn at next year's SummerSlam. Having him win #16. That SS would mark 3 years since his last title reign, and over the last year or so, he's started to lose clean to guys that have become the center of attention.

2.) 02 Dec 2016 17:25:45
The only time to turn Cena heel would be when you have some one ready to take his place as the face of the company.

They had the chance when Punk and Bryan were at their peaks.

Could someone like AJ Styles really become the champ to run the camp? Unknown.

Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns are obvious potentials, they want to push Finn to the moon as well.

As for Cena he'd be a great heel if he just carried on saying all the same things but buddied up with Bryan and Shane, occasional cheating, people boo him anyway, as he starts to lose his spot have him up to stay on top, basically what everyone accuses him of.

"Do you know how much merchandise money I bring in"

3.) 02 Dec 2016 20:57:41
I'd do the heel turn at Mania. Taker's last Mania. Let Cena beat him but not fairly. My favourite RAW is always the one following Mania and would love to see the reaction he would get.
May even give Taker a last shot at redemption at Summerslam.

It now looks more likely that the lesnar/ orton match was a work, and it's played out perfectly in my opinion.

Thinking of ideas, and correct me if I'm wrong (had a few too many) but did orton go for the punt kick at SS? Not seen that in a long time. Anyway, I think it would've worked a lot better if they had lesnar appear on raw, showing off etc and orton attack him and then punt kick him and putting lesnar out of action for a few months. He's disappearing anyway so why not give him a reason?

Then when he does appear the story line writes itself, maybe leads to a Wrestlemania match?

I know orton couldn't exactly go on a mad rampage with 10 staples in his head but you get my drift.

Thoughts?

JordDodz

1.) 23 Aug 2016 20:44:35
You could tell it was worked because lesnar was stopping short of punching him when he was pummelling Orton and when he was hitting him he was hitting his hands was brilliant though.

2.) 23 Aug 2016 21:02:19
A hope they try something differant or lesner comes back and has a actual feud with someone. He's a beast and the biggest star they have just now but the suplex suplex f5 and the mma styles fights r getting a little boring for me. Orton should have just won a at summerslam and punted him after words. It would have set orton up nicely for a feud with styles if styles where to take the belt from dean.

3.) 23 Aug 2016 21:41:56
It was a total work, read the details about the Jericho, Lesnar confrontation. Vince himself told Jericho the whole match was a work and Orton reassured him it went down as it was supposed to. It was all done to give them a kayfabe reason to write Lesnar off tv, whilst also maybe trying to prove a point post McGregor comments.
I thought it was a great finish and is hopefully a sign we are mo ing away from the PG era, the only surprise to me was just how many people thought it was a shoot.

4.) 23 Aug 2016 22:48:24
Orton did go for a punt, and Lesnar reversed it into the F5 that got a 2 count. Then Brock switched to smash mode that lead to the TKO.

I guess neither is expected to be around any time soon. Brock of course being Brock, and Orton will supposedly be kept off for awhile to either sell the injury and/ or because of actual injuries?

I just hope they don't do Brock vs Shane. If they're going to have anyone try to stop Lesnar's brutality. It should be Ambrose. Not the "Lunatic Fringe" version of Ambrose. I'm talking about the Jon F'n Moxley version of Ambrose. Like Foley against Taker in HiaC, Ambrose doesn't even need to win, he just needs the opportunity to show the casuals the type of punishment he can endure.

5.) 23 Aug 2016 23:15:06
Need to disagree haggis having Orton beat him would have been a mistake but the punt could still be a good idea.

6.) 24 Aug 2016 07:22:34
It isn't the best booking to be fair gordo but this idea lesner is invincible is silly. He is the top dog ofcourse but Taker cena and hhh have all beat him since he's been back I belive? Reigns was beating his ass till rollins intervined And orton is at good and as big a star as them imo and with lesner only being part time and orton going to be around for the next while in a big feud no doubt it would have bn good to see him get the win even if it wasnt clean.

7.) 24 Aug 2016 13:22:03
Be fair if Brock hit Orton that many times it would have looked worse than that hole on his head.

Hi guys, long time reader very occasional poster. Absolutely love the depth of conversations on here.

Anyway, with the upcoming brand split and NXT staying as it is, do you think it would be beneficial or 'cool' for both shows to fight over the latest upcoming talent? Say for example Finn Balor stays in NXT for another year and it's apparent his 'contract' with NXT is due to expire, do you think it would be cool for both shows to fight it out over his signature? Or even every April after mania have a NFL style draft for new NXT stars? Being from England I'm not too sure how that works but I'm sure you get the concept.

Looking forward to any response and hoepfully I've not missed it on here before.

JordDodz

1.) 28 Jun 2016 21:18:37
I have always enjoyed the draft. It has an air of anticipation about it and if done properly ramps the tension up. I don't see why they don't have a match to see who has first dibs though.

2.) 29 Jun 2016 09:33:34
I do really like that idea. It would be the same for leaving Smackdown and joining Raw. I don't think Finn will be doing this though as he has been in NXT so long now and he would be a big boost to the main roster. But maybe in the future with hopefully guys like Ricochet and Zack Sabre Jr.

3.) 29 Jun 2016 10:34:24
After the new bunch of Recruits come inBobby Roode Damo, Tommy End, Moose and the guys in the CWC. who would you guys top 5 Indy guys WWE has to sign?
1. Riccochet
2. Will Osprey
3. The Briscoes
4. Drew Galloway
5. Young Bucks.

4.) 29 Jun 2016 11:00:07
I assume this is exactly what is due to happen.

Raw and Smackdown COO's will pick in order from a list of talent this year, then next year there will be a draft ep, where they will have matches to determined who gets to pick which stars switch.

I believe they'd be mad in the future not to have the NXT stars be the draft pool for these episodes.

They are talking more and more about making Raw vs Smackdown genuine competition, as in not working together at all.

So getting the pick of NXT would be a huge boost for one side or the other.

5.) 29 Jun 2016 13:21:50
Already bored of this brand split to be honest, they need fresh ideas not recycled ones.

6.) 29 Jun 2016 14:10:27
I hope Ospreay comes in too but I believe he only recently signed a 2 year deal with NJPW. I also read this morning that Ricochet's deal with Lucha Underground is up but part of his deal says that he cannot appear on US TV until his final LU appearance is aired. That is the end of season 3 which will be roughly January next year.

7.) 29 Jun 2016 22:51:03
I'd love to see them do a "first year player" draft like the MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL. Make it so once a person gets on NXT tv, they are eligible for the next draft (They would stay in NXT until ready/ needed) . Mania week would be a perfect time to do it. A network special on wednesday or thursday. Each brand could then show off their top pick at various events. Plus the WWE would be getting their draft in before any of the sports leagues.

It would not only create a lot of things for the here and now, but it also has the potential to create things for many years down the line. In 2011 if there were one of these drafts, it could of featured Ambrose, Big Cass, Big E, Tyler Breeze, Cesaro, Jason Jordan, Reigns, Rollins, Rusev, and Xavier Woods.

8.) 30 Jun 2016 12:58:45
People could trade multiple lesser stars for a big name.

EG the negotiation process of seeing someone go for Cena by offering up the whole New Day.

I am genuinely enjoying watching the insane fight club on BBC 3.

I enjoyed how Drew and his old best friend were actually getting personal in the bar fight promo, or well his best friend was. This must be a problem for any superstar on the wwe roster I imagine, when you're engaging every day with people there must be some who actually dislike eachother and whatnot.

I also love Grado, everything he says makes me laugh I imagine he's the most over with the fans.

I love the vision and drive of Dallas, his genuine love of what he does is great to see. This is what the WWE is missing, they have no one at the top who has any fear of failing because there is no competition and they are too safe in their work. Obviously there is so so much more to think about and I'm not for one second comparing ICW with the WWE but there is comparisons to be drawn on.

That's just my vew, yours could be different obviously but i'd love to hear them.

Is there an Insane Fight Club 3 coming?

I saw they were showing the old ones again, and hoped there is an update due.

Its Yer Self

2.) 02 Jul 2015 09:51:57
Just watched it now, simply amazing again, preferred last weeks to this weeks though, didn't particularly enjoy them getting drunk every night on the pre tour, but I guess that what happens sometimes. Drew Galloway is awesome, never saw why WWE released, grado as funny as ever too. I also love mark Dallas passion for the wrestling business and I can see why ICW are becoming more of a success

3.) 02 Jul 2015 13:32:56
Grado is brilliant sadly at 31 I doubt we will ever see him in the wwe lol, drew Galloway is brilliant from his look to his ring skills.

Noam Dar is a guy who has a lot of potential.

4.) 02 Jul 2015 14:50:34
I think Grado is funny for all the wrong reasons.

Easy to root for, but I thought him getting in to TNA was a great achievement.

5.) 02 Jul 2015 17:24:17
There's no F at the end of it Bessex i'm sorry about this but it's so bad hearing the English Crowd shout Its Yerself. The Guy Jack Jester is awesome as well met him and he honestly could not have been nicer that was just a week or so before his return & heel turn though. I hope Drew gets a chance to maybe do some part time work for NXT or something he for me is the top guy in Britain. It's worth making arrangements etc to get "yersells" to a show on there next tour which has meant to be a really big one. Since I got the network & was watching a lot of old ECW I thought there must be a real buzz when your a part of that crowd that feels like your witnessing something Special. I felt that way every moment I was at ICW Barramania.
I cannot wait to go back. If there shows weren't always a Sunday night & finish after Train times I would honestly try make every show in Glasgow. On Insane Fight Club 3 I'm more than sure they filmed those one after another. There hasn't been a 3rd announced but bet your Ass Mark Dallas will jump at the chance. He was however doing everything in his might recently to get a TV Deal. There On demand service is only £3.99 a month if they can get it onto better platforms I will subscribe.

6.) 03 Jul 2015 09:51:00
If they ever come a bit closer to the South West I will check them out.

7.) 03 Jul 2015 14:11:22
Always thought Drew was criminally under utilised in WWE. Great look, great skills and they could have worked on his promos to make him the complete package. Hopefully one day we see him there again. Grado makes me laugh but as Bessex says for the wrong reasons. I hope ICW keep getting bigger and bigger. I like how Drew is defending the title in different organisations it can only serve to drive the company forward

If it was set up then I take it all back, but I didn't think they'd go to that extremety just to get Cena over.
I thought the promo was very good for the main reason that it seemed almost personal, even Cena was getting close to the bone in some instances

Truly one of the best videos I think I have ever watched. Having watched the wwe for over 12 years now (I'm 22) this puts it all into perspective how much the superstars devote their lives for this.
A side note however, I do believe it shows the extreme talent of guys like The rock, stone cold, kurt angle, and despite how unpopular he is I think this shows how talented and hard working john Cena must be. If he'd not played the exact same American hero character for 10 years now he would certainly be one of the greats
