So if it was definitley a work how much credit does Randy Orton deserve for letting himself be split open with a genuine elbow from Brock Lesnar. Randys one of the biggest stars in the WWE and arguably ever so he could've easily went against that decision. I know he's had his problems but have to respect him for going through with it. Can't help but think if it was the other way around Brick would have been as willing.

You need to remember that they are genuine friends out side the ring as well and would have both agreed this made them both look good Orton got the rko's and kicked out the f5 so he still looks strong despite getting beating.

ortons my favourite, him and hhh rivalries are top notch! h3 looked great but lesnar looks like he could beat anyone.

Really it's funny how the same match can be viewed so differently by two people , I have watched it twice and thought brock came across as an unbeatable monster 👾 and randy came over as cannon fodder , who should not be sharing a ring with a guy on that level. I like randy Orton but he came away from that match looking weaker than any opposition brock has faced in the last two years.

Ummm Cena?

Just as a curve ball does anybody think there's a chance of bulletproof/Balor club or whatever they're going to be called debuting at takeover? Just a thought because the only person to debut on the main roster straight away has been AJ Styles

I'd recommend JTGs book for anyone interested in wrestling biographies, its only about 67 pages long so its a quick read and deals with all the times he got heat and how easy it is to get heat. Worth reading if youve got a few hours to spare

67 pages? Sounds more like a pamphlet.

I use the term "book" loosely but there's no filler and its pretty funny.

How badly did they drop the ball with Cesaro by stoppong his push? Even his roll ups are incredible! Anyone think there's a chance we'll get to see him one on one with Lesnar? that's a dream match for me

Ricky

1.) It will be some way down the road if ever.

I think he's found another good little niche for now with Kidd, they are gradually getting over as a tag team.

Being part of the most over tag team is probably better than being the most underutilised guy on the midcard.

I genuinely believe his time will come, the best success's are the ones that take years to achieve.

Its why nobody wanted to see it handed to Reign's, but loved seeing Bryan win it.

2.) I figure Cesaro will get a "thank you for service" World title run before he's done. Kidd might get one as well, if he can stay around and stay healthy long enough.

3.) Tell that to Goldust or Regal.

4.) Goldust and Regal both had huge problems with drugs throughout their careers. Their "award" was WWE re-hiring and/or keeping them employed.

5.) I don't think you get a reward title run, perhaps if you have been in for a decade you would get a few extra chances to prove yourself.

Guys like Kofi, Cody and Truth must have 10 years in each but won't be given a run with the title.

There was more chance when they had two belts, but even then the WHC was never really a top title in anything but name.

So with Rollins in the title match does that change anyones prediction for the Royal Rumble and Mania? Can see Cena pinning Rollins to win the title only for Brock to spend the next 5 minutes destroying Cena leading to a Rollins cash in then Reigns winning the rumble setting up a Rollins v Reigns main event
Thoughts?

Ricky

1.) That would be a pretty cool way of doing it, but I still feel somebody pinning Brock clean one on one is the way to go, unless he is going to sign up for some more dates.

2.) With the way the Championship has been treated this past year not only does someone deserve to beat Lesnar for it at Mania ( who's not named John Cena ) but that person should also get to bask in the achievement at least until Extreme Rules.

3.) Exactly, if Lesnar is leaving he should be pinned in the middle of the ring at the granddaddy of them all.

It should be someone that can use the rub for years. I am thinking a Bryan, Ambrose, Riegns, Ziggler, even Ryback.

Someone will be catapulted in to being the face of the company.

4.) Daniel Bryan needs it the least but doing it might be the thing that finally knocks John Cena off the top and I am all for that. I think Ambrose could use it the most and would make for a, Jericho winning the Undisputed titles, like moment.

Unpopular opinion but Roman Reigns is putting on really good matches. The last two ppv matches with Styles were great, the match with HHH was very good and is match with Brock was great as well

However I do hate his booking and the endings to his matches are absolutely awful. But that's what I hate is the booking. Roman as a wrestler is constantly getting better and that razors edge into a powerbomb shows that he's working on being innovative in adding moves.

So I was wondering, do people hate the booking or do you actually hate Roman as a wrestler?

I agree that when Jack Swagger was world champion on one show and John Cena was WWE champion the WWE championship was a much bigger deal, but during the brand split when Kurt Angle and Brick Lesnar were both feuding on Smackdown for the Wwe title and HHH and Shawn Michaels were feuding for the WHC on Raw both titles seemed equally important.

Book the two shows like seperate competing entities and you can have two equally important world titles.

Careful what you wish for, could end up with Cena as the main man on one brand and Reigns on the other.

I'd love for them to build up Cesaro and have him eventually go over Lesnar, he's one of the few people I think would be believable beating him just by our wrestling him. Have a feeling it will be Reigns that beats Lesnar though.

So that would be 4 wrestlemania main events in a row? Surely that can't happen as last year they needed Rollins to save them, Reigns will probably be booed out of the building if he beats HHH clean as a face, surely there's a point were someone says enough is enough.

Agree with Eddie and Benoit winning the title as being right up there, in recent years Rollins cash in was pretty great

Also really liked Orton beating Benoit at Summerslam to win his first world title and then the handshake after.
