Am sorry but I feel it's to late for sting he is 55 for crying out loud. Ok great spin on the ending of a reasonable match but am sure they could of got someone else even Orton would of been great nice face turn. Or in fact let's get no show leaner in on it but nope they ain't that clever and that is why no show lesnar has the title.

He is a wrestling legend, I watched the match again today and I was still shaking with excitement, this man has never been in wwe ring before until last night, I say give him one more match for the fans of sting in 80s 90s Wcw, he looks in better shape than the undertaker did for the previous wrestlemania aswell

2.) I'm sorry but some fans are never going to be pleased whatever happens, so you have the biggest wrestling legend to never wrestle in a WWE ring turn up totally unexpected and this isn't good enough, not to mention the amount of story lines it potentially opens up, and people would prefer the same old same old with an Orton interference, come on

{Ed008's Note - Its peoples opinions I'm actually not too impressed with Sting's debut if I'm honest.

3.) I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the main event. Ryback being eliminated early, Cena not being last man standing, Rusev losing, but in an awesome way, a possible good feud brewing with Harper & Rowen, a great last battle between Ziggler & Rollins. But I just don't get why people were surprised with Sting. Everyone knew he had to be involved as it had been hyped so much and he wasn't in the Wyatt/Ambrose match earlier.
Yes Sting is a legend and I am sure they are building up for him against HHH or Taker at Wrestlemania, but like boovy says, he is well past his sell by date.
Rollins must have been 'out' for at least 5 minutes, a record I suggest for a Dolph finishing move while HHH stared at Sting and Sting stared at HHH and half the crowd wet themselves.
I just can't get excited about Sting

Read a rumour that sting might have two more matches one against HHH and another against taker, for me who is 16 and fully engrossed into social networking the reaction was very positive about sting debut and because I have never seen him perform in a ring so with all the hype of him debuting I was thrilled and it was an instant huge reaction from my part, also who one here wants stone cold Steve Austin have one more match

5.) The only thing missing was his Baseball bat, isn't he allowed to use it in the PG Era?

6.) To answer your point about Sting Boovy is he might be a bit past it but sure as hell still carries that aura about him that Taker has too and to finally see Stinger in a WWE ring is something special. I still believe he'll put on a match to remember, it's not all about the Wrestling with these Guys, it's the storytelling. Sting does it well. He was wasted in TNA for that length of time.

7.) I also wondered about the baseball bat danmation, the PG rating did come to mind, but haven't we seen the sledgehammer in these PG days?

8.) He had the bat in the video. Would have topped it off if he had carried it with him.

9.) Agreed, although I was still pretty impressed with the debut, bat or no bat, first time in a while I've not been pissed off after buying a Ppv, couldn't miss the debut of the man they call sting, I've only been waiting about 20 years!

10.) Showing my age here, but I've been a huge Sting fan since he burst on the scene in the mid to late 80's as surfer Sting. So for me Survivor Series truely was a mark out moment, obviously he will not be a regular or have many matches but he is such a professional I'm sure he will be able to put together and pull off at least 2 credible matches if with the right talent. HHH would work for me but sadly not sure Taker could physically do it. I hope he is fit enough and him and Sting to spend months together putting a match together like he did with Michaels, HHH and Punk. I've always thought if WWF had got Sting instead of Warrior he was talented and charismatic enough to replace Hogan, personally I feel he could have been bigger than Hogan

11.) Sting is more than the sum of his tired body.

His matches won't be full of flips, but you will see him get beat down and you will him to come back, and he will, and it will be awesome.

I'd like to see him wrestle HHH, Taker, and preferably a run with Bray, just for the theatrics.

From what I have heard, Sting will be having a match with Triple H, he is still hoping the Undertaker will be fit to take on a match with him and then another match, pretty much he will be a PPV player. As they are going to give him a few matches, let him bow out gracefully and then give him (a well deserved) Hall of Fame Spot.
