i love wwe don't get me wrong. And the attuide era was unreal! But the end of that ppv was a shambles with them 4 vetrans left in the ring must be a kick in the teeth for the stars of today. 4 over the hill stars close the show out over stars like aj rollins dolph even reigns who turns up week n week out to be over shadowed.

Got it in one.
While I am sure that the crowd enjoyed a show where the Aussies won their respective matches, everything was just predictable. As it has been over the past few years, on he rare occasion that Taker appears, the highlight is always the theatre of his entrance. His matches are now so slow.
This is just part of the general malaise afflicting the WWE at the moment. These grand tours are like a football pre-season friendly - it is nice to see the stars but the matches themselves are of no importance at all.
It won't be long before the fans see through this, indeed the next Saudi event has just been moved from a venue with a 67,000 capacity to one with 27,000. Still a decent number, but vastly different.
There seems to be an ever increasing indifference to wrestling and particularly WWE at the moment. It can be seen in the empty seats on RAW and especially Smackdown. It can be seen with the people who no longer contribute on this site and in the falling television viewing figures.
There is an article on Bleacher Report titled 'Breaking Down Everything That's Wrong with RAW' which is worth a read.
It is not a problem with the wrestlers who are more athletic than their counterparts in the past but with the WWE management. There is nothing original and the vast majority of storylines are appalling. The commentators are rubbish as well.
This growing lack of interest is why they drag out Taker, HHH, Kane and HBK in the hope that a bit of nostalgia will plug the increasing gaps of indifference.
Sorry about the rant, but something needs to be done.

imo Vince needs to step down and give tripleh full control, look what triple h has done for NXT he would turn around raw, smaxkdown and ppvs I think.

He will step down when he has popped his clogs and only then.
