I know WWE's top lists are always a joke but this ones got to be funniest ever. I just watched WWE Countdown for the top 10 most memorable debuts & guess what was #1, nope not Jericho's millenium countdown, not Undertaker at the survivor series, not Goldberg or Bischoff on raw or the Outsiders on nitro it was. (drumroll). John Cena's debut on smackdown.

{Ed008's Note - BigBear can you explain why this has happened?

The funny thing is I can't remember John Cena's debut, didn't he wear green suspenders and beat Angle?

I genuinely can't picture it, its certainly not one of the most memorable for me.

My instant thought was Jericho's millennium man, Kane's buildup to him costing the Undertaker the title, or even Taz's orange lights building to him being the mystery opponent for Angle. {Ed008's Note - Yeah your right he beat Angle I think, Chris Jericho's debut I'd even have The Shield in my top 3.

2.) 23 May 2014
It has to be Brandon Walker's surely or maybe Kizarni. Seriously though top 3 debuts would be
1. Jericho
2. Kane
3. The Radicalz (loved how they just showed up sitting ringside)

3.) 23 May 2014
Angle beat Cena on Cena's debut

4.) 23 May 2014
Cena didn't win his debut but he came very close against angle

5.) 23 May 2014
Like I say it wasn't very memorable to me.

Was he called the Prototype?

6.) 23 May 2014
I think Cena was Prototype down in OVW rather than his WWE debut

7.) 23 May 2014
Kane would be my number 1

8.) 23 May 2014
I remember Kurt doing his medals challenge and seeing John Cena for the first time on that.
Best entrance Jericho bar none

9.) 23 May 2014
Best debut ever was Jericho with kane close second radicals third

10.) 23 May 2014
I used to love it when they built them up over a few weeks using vignettes. Loved the razor Ramon and Sid justice ones. I couldn't wait for them to debut. Jerichos was a great debut. Shame they messed him as a possible true headliner though

Albo {Ed007's Note - The Razor Ramon 'Scarface' vignettes were top drawer Albo, I remember them well.}

Man, I've been watching wrestling far too long. I still remember takers debut. Kids crying etc. was quality. But for me Kane coming down, mask, p bearer, getting into the cage was belter. Mind, Jericho and Tazz were good with countdowns etc but if I remember correctly, Jericho was fed to the rock on he's debut night, hit him with the bell twice and still lost. Tazz beat angle and done nothing as he didn't have the look. Small and dumpy. Taker or Kane for me. Nostalgia and being consistent for so long. Can't remember many more debuts!

Jericho No1 here and it's WWE upload.

13.) 24 May 2014
That list is more like it, can't believe they made that in April 13 then completely alter it a year later. Taz, Goldberg, Bischoff, Shield, Big Show & Nexus didn't even make the list on the networks countdown show. there's was
10. Outsiders (Hall & Nash)
9. Mankind
8. Rey Mysterio
7. Santino Marella
6. Brock Lesnar
5. Kane
4. The Rock
3. Chris Jericho
2. The Undertaker
1. John Cena

Brock Lesnars debut was amazing and booked like a monster. That's what is supposed to happen. Vince does my head in with this stop start booking. You can't predict who will be a star because you don't know if vince will lose interest. Tazz's was a good debut as it was in new York but again his size was the problem. I think it was Bob Holly who was interviewed lately and he said if wrestlers are built as "super heroes" like in comics anything can be believed (within reason) and wrestlers don't all need to be like Mason Ryan
