Anyone else think Kevin Owens is walking out a 2 time NXT Champ on Saturday. Everyone seems to think the 2 title matches at Takeover are to obvious because of Owens & Sasha's main roster promotions. though I think Bailey will beat Sasha I also think Owens will beat Balor.
People think its blasphemous to take the title off Balor so soon but why, he was never supposed to hold the title in the first place.
Hideo was supposed to win the triple threat & the Tokyo homecoming title victory was meant for him & not Balor, Balor was going to wrestle Jericho but had to be replaced by Neville.
They also played Hideo's injury to be caused by Owens so when he returns (which I've heard may be sooner than we think) it makes sense to go after Owens.
Owens will probably be glad to spend more time doing double duty & continue working at NXT as his familys located down there. Also if its still too soon for Hideo to return then Owens can finish the fued that's been teased with Samoa Joe. So I think it makes more sense to have Owens become champ, bring Balor up to the main roster & let Owens double duty until Hideo's back to win the title off Owens.

Sasha will most liely drop the title to Bayley, however I don't think Kevi will beat Finn, only becuase he's on the main roster and he's in a feud with Cesaro now.

I think the one of the best drawn out feuds in WWE in years has been Owens vs Zayne, I find it hard to believe that Owens won't get his come back from Sami, with the only question being where will that match take place? NXT or Main Roster?

Owens also has unfinished business with Joe.

I won't be surprised to see him pick the belt back up and continue working for both shows, after all NXT TV tapings are 2 days every 6 weeks aren't they?

I haven't fogotten about Zayn but I think he's possibly out for the remainder of the year. I'd have Owens finish his business at NXT with Joe & Hideo & whatever he's up to on the main roster & have Zayn make a surprise return at the rumble whilst Owens is the only guy in the ring, possibly Owens the #1 entrant & Zayn for #2. Then they should have that classic grudge match we've been waiting for at Mania.

Balor will retain but Sheamus will cash in MitB on him, claiming that once the NXT title was defended in Japan it became a world title and that the WWE heavyweight titles unification reverted the MitB rule of only being able to cash in on a specific title, back to its original rule of being able to cash in on any world title.
