to all you extreme wrestling fans this is the invention of extreme wrestling:

the only difference is that this was not used every week, it was used when business was down to get the houses back up again. also these were main event players Jerry Lawler and Dundee, not curtain jerkers.

Why disagree? This was the invention of hardcore wrestling, as they basically did this once a year and a Japanese wrestler came in a few years later and was involved in a hardcore angle and went back to japan and set up a promotion of hardcore wrestling.
Also heyman went through the Memphis area and saw this type of wrestling, so anyone disagreeing just has a lack of wrestling knowledge.

What does chanting ECW have to do with this?

4.) 27 Apr 2014
Why disagree with my why disagree comment? THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED!

Those who disagree have something mentally wrong. {Ed008's Note - Nothing mentally just pure stupidity not to use their keyboard and voice their opinion..

I just disagreed about part that that was invention of HC wrestling. It was just one of thing that lead to HC. Bleeding was introduced a lot earlier, as were use of foreign objects.

Hardcore wrestling predates video.

I just produced the line of where the only hardcore wrestling promotions have come from and you are not saying that these facts are correct when they are!

ECW was the first purely hardcore wrestling promotion, I know they used to throw in the odd Jericho vs Malenko, but as a rule ECW was extreme from the first bell to the last.

The nudity and vulgarness of what they did with the female wrestlers, the brutality of people like Balls and Axle, even the top class wrestling of RVD vs Jerry Lynn always had chairs and crowd dives.

ECW was extreme and I loved it.

Then I also loved Tyson Kidd vs Christian on an episode of superstars that was wristlocks and takedowns all the way.

You don't have to choose.
