Looks like the WWE are leaving two major surprises for the night of WM.

Who will be Braun's partner?

Will the Taker show up for Cena?

I can't think of a less storied build up to what should have been the featured match than this Taker Cena nonsense.

I am beginning to think the Deadman shows up and says they'll have their match at WM35. Which will be fairly insulting to people who have been led to believe they are going to get Cena v Undertaker.

At least if they give JC v U a full years build up you'd have the story the way it should be told.

As for Braun, its got to be either Bliss for banter, or someone he can fall out and feud with like Joe or Cas.

Out of interest are any of you regulars staying up?

I'll be at Attack! Pro Wrestling's show in Cardiff for the 3rd year running. A few hours of the South West's liveliest bunch before they drop the big screens for the longest show in Wrestling History.

I could pay for a weekend abroad on the amount I will have to spend to stay in beer for about 10 hours!

I'll probably record it I think my long night days are over lol.

I was going to watch it at the Walkabout in Temple but my boss has given me a really heavy day on Monday with a 6am start so I will have to watch it later. At least my liver will thank me.
The only way I can see Cena/ Taker working now is for Cena to go as a fan and Taker launches a surprise attack leading to an unsanctioned match. But you are right. This has been a mess relying on Cena's mic skills and nothing else.
I still think Strowman will win it on his own. Giving him a partner such as Joe or Cass will not make his win even remotely surprising. I expect his next feud to appear on the first RAW after Mania.
I really hope they have other surprises up their sleeves which social media haven't had a sniff of yet.
Still, enjoy it mate and have a drink for me.

I saw a tweet that said he should just drag James Elsworth's prone body to the ring, win it by himself, then drag it back.

Is anyone else doubting Ronda's WWE pedigree after Raw?

She cocked up her promo and then awkwardly roughed up Steph.

Heyman derived another world class promo.

The Revival took another pointless loss.

Bayley and Sasha had a great segment.

No denying she was rubbish on the mic and I really don't like the 'Rowdy' gimmick. The whole point of signing her was that she was such a bad ass in UFC. Making her a face is just wrong. I also doubt she has had even close to enough training to sell moves which is why she looked so awkward.
Maybe she needs a manager and Paige springs to mind.
I despair of what they are doing to the tag teams on RAW. They are promoting The Bar as defeating all competition and the rumour is that they will be facing a new team at Mania made up of 2 wrestlers who are not part of an existing team. No idea who this will be.
I'd much prefer them to face a team like the Authors of Pain now that the Revival seem out of the question.
Cesaro and Sheamus have been 2 of the most consistent performers on Raw for ages. They never seem to have a bad match. They deserve to have a stronger story line and decent opponents at Mania.

I like strong Champions, but they could do with building some credible opponents as well.

My son got me up at 5am, let the missus have a lie in, little did she know I was up and watching Raw 25.

No spoilers here, other than to say nobody came off as a big winner considering we are heading in to Wrestlemania season. The go home show for one of the Big 4 normally develops or hypes a match or two.

This was pure nostalgia.

I thought the Miz obviously getting a win over Roman to take back the IC title was good, especially as he appeared to outsmart him.

Elias got a great rub by planting John Cena, and getting an interaction with Jericho. Rare to see stars of that calibre allowing a newbie to get over on them.

Outside of that it was hard work to fathom why Bray and Matt Hardy's feud was apparently buried in a 5 minute clean finish match.

Why the Revival's return was derailed so aggressively by DX and the Balor Club, surly anyone could have taken that beating.

Then the final segment making Braun look strong again took away any doubt that Brock retains at the rumble by pinning Kane.

The Undertakers heavily promoted return wasn't really anything.

I was left pretty disappointed, but for all the little segments bringing back old favourites for 20 seconds of interaction.

Wasn't it odd that if you have Y2J (arguably the hottest thing in wrestling) you wouldn't send him out for the crowd?

As you said. It was pure nostalgia.
It was also a little too lose for comfort to the Rumble and any major surprises involving veteran wrestlers will be saved for then.
I must admit, I was also surprised the way the Revival were dealt with, but I am sure they will come back.
In a way it is a bit like a previous thread. It involved wrestlers not seen for a long time and they are never going to turn up and lose so it really didn't happen.

Interesting end to HITC.

Love the soap opera dynamic of Owens and Zayne.

They headline Mania one day, and they'll be able to tell a hell of a story.

Don't think so because Kevin Owens is not really main event guy.

Despite become fairly disinterested in WWE, I find myself being keen for Summerslam and NXT, the breaks done me good.

Few matches that look good on paper, its a loaded card, I suppose this is the 2nd biggest show of the year.

Great stuff from all three brands, let's hope they deliver.

Well, Takeover delivered. Hope Summerslam can do the same.
Loved Aleister Black's entrance.

I think they did pretty good.

I'm pulling a run in for Mania Season.

I'd love to see Drew win it, but I'm sure its going to be Braun.

I think I'd like to see Charlotte win the women's, and I can't think of anyone more likely to actually win it.

They would be mad to try and hitch Bray (who has lost his way) to Braun. Strowman is arguably the most over guy right now, I think he will go for the Shield himself.

NXT is pure wrestling, the way I want it, as if it was a genuine competition.
Smackdown is wrestling with some entertainment mixed in.
Raw is Sports entertainment.
If you like seeing men taped inside portaloos and tipped off a stage then Raw is for you, if you want to see decent matches then you're a Smackdown guy, and if you want decent matches that mean something just watch NXT.

I have read a few places that the WWE don't want Bryan in to anything they can't write him out of in a flash because they are not sure how he will react to wrestling again.

Certainly some great matches for him to have but if I was writing it then The Miz would get the belt off of AJ, and Bryan would get him one on one at Mania.
