I watched the end of RAW again this morning and i'm convinced that Owens did not know he was going to win that match until Triple H dragged him back into the ring. He looked more shocked than anyone and I think it was such a genuine reaction. I think they must have been told the ending but with Seth winning to keep it all a secret.

It's called the art of selling.
Of course he knew as he's the huge part going forward. But because he sells so well, it makes him the best about at the moment.

WWE have kept things secret before. For example even the ref didn't know that Lesnar was going to beat taker at Wrestlemania. Since I wrote this is have actually seen rumours that say the same thing.

If it was all planned and everyone knew what was going to happen what did Triple H say in Owens ear as he picked him up and threw him in the ring. If it was all planned out nothing would need to be said.

I guess we will never know but it wouldn't surprise me if it was kept secret from everyone until it happened to reduce the chance of any leaks.

they are constantly talking to one another but there's no way that KO didn't know.

Wwe have done an excellent job of 'selling' things properly recently. I can think of at least three occasions in the last 2 weeks where I wasn't 100% sure if they were still sticking to the script. The ending of Orton v Lesnar seemed real, as if Lesnar had just lost it. The Talking Smack interview with Miz and Daniel Bryan was absolutely brilliant, they seem like they legit hate each other. And the end of Raw seemed like they'd gone of script as well. Owens looked so shocked it seemed real and even Foley and Stephanie's reactions seemed legit. Good work WWE, keep it up.

I would say it's the actual achievement that's why his reaction is priceless. from wrestling all over the world in small venue's to becoming what every wrestler must dream of doing being wwe heavyweight champion.

That's the name now but you know what I mean it's the top of the mountain kind of thing to be the top champion in the wwe.
