I know it's a bit early but who are our winner contenders for the 2015 Royal Rumble, and what surprise returns will we see?

1.) 30 Nov 2014
Hhh for me if he is now been kicked out as the authority, he comes back in as number 30 or wait a minute number 1!! would build up an authority repeat with him having his one final run??

2.) 30 Nov 2014
If he doesn't return in December then I see roman reigns returning. Also, this is more in hope than anything I'm hoping for a daniel bryan return to. I wouldn't be too surprised if ziggler wins.

I think Reigns will win it whether that's his return or not. If Bryan was to return then i'd definitely love to see him win it. Rock could return to win it if Vince is serious about wanting Brock v Rock at mania. Other than that I can't see anyone else winning it.

4.) 01 Dec 2014
For me I can't see past Roman Reigns as the winner, think it's clear they are building him up and I doubt Rock will be free around WM31 so for me Brock vs Reigns. Outside chance of someone like Orton winning, I think the HHH will somehow get a match at WM for control of the company. Returns during Rumble I can see Jericho making an appearance and quite a few ECW originals to get a nice pop out of the crowd. Dreamer, Sandman and RVD most likely

Why ECW originals, is it in Philly. Could be the return of Barrett too, though wouldn't stand a chance of winning it tho. Also Neville or Zayn, whoever loses at Takeover, most likely Neville.

6.) 01 Dec 2014
I'd like if Ziggler or Ambrose won it but my bet is on Reigns as everyone above has said.

Reigns in at number 27 to win it!

Would love it to be Daniel Bryan but I think it's more likely to be Reigns. If they're both injured then Wwe will either play it safe with Orton or pull the trigger with Ziggler.

8.) 01 Dec 2014
They have it made now with all the NXT guys to bring in for a one off test run.

I'd love to see Big Cass get in the Rumble, just to have their entrance with Enzo introducing him.

I hear they want to get a few ECW guys back for the Philly crowd.

9.) 01 Dec 2014
Basically if Brock is going to be Champ at Mania you know a face is going to win the Rumble.

Options that would work are limited, options that would work that people want to see even more so.

Cena and Randy would work, but nobody wants to see it.

The Rock vs Brock would be awesome, but we'd be stuck with a part time champ, and Rock probably isn't going to be free.

Ziggler, Roman, Ambrose, Bryan, even Ryback could all look good in a losing effort at Mania to Brock. I am not buying any of them pinning Brock.

Sting or the Undertaker would rely on the idea that Brock is scared of their super natural mysterious side, as opposed to him just acknowledging they are old men half his size.

Or someone like HHH or Bray could try and turn in time to be an edgy face.

Like I say very limited options, there is of course the option that Brock drops the title in the Elimination Chamber allowing the WWE to set up any main event they fancy between the RR and EC.

For what its worth the one guy that could now come back in and take down HHH and then Brock is Batista. He is believable and has the pedigree to get away with it, and I think he'd work straight through until Summerslam as Champ. That's just me though.

10.) 01 Dec 2014
Yes sorry forgot to say it's in Philly hence the ECW originals. I think that might be part of the reason behind having 40 participants again too. Allows for more legends and surprise participants without leaving out current roster guys

I wouldn't complain if Orton won it providing Brocks his opponent at Mania. that's a fresh fued & could be a classic match.

12.) 01 Dec 2014
Its been a while since a Heel champ has defended the title at Mania.

13.) 01 Dec 2014

Bryan at wm28 I believe was the last heel to defend a major championship at wm but rr wise reigns to win, rollins cashes in on lesnar, ambrose wins ec match sets up fatal 4 way at wm31 lesnar vs rollins vs ambrose vs reigns, don't want singles match between lesnar vs reigns as reigns will win as lesnar is likely to be leaving after wm31 like wm20 needs to be triple threat of 4 way to make it less predictable

14.) 01 Dec 2014
Bryan lost at WM28, I meant a heel champion going in to the main event with the big belt and coming out the other side.

It has to be The Miz defending it against Cena at WM27, after the Rock stuck his nose in.

Before that you have to go all the way back to Wrestlemania 2000 when against all odds Triple H defended in a fatal fourway.

I think it would be a great shock to have the next up and comer Roman Riegns win the Rumble and then get beaten by Lesnar, perhaps give him a rematch in the Summer.

Orton at wm30

16.) 01 Dec 2014
01 Dec 2014 17:08:48
He didn't retain, Bryan won it.

17.) 01 Dec 2014

Didnt Jericho retain against Edge, forget the mania but it was the year Edge came back to win the rumble.

18.) 01 Dec 2014
01 Dec 2014 17:20:27
Sorry meant at wm24

{Ed008's Note - Back to Bessex's point of having Reigns win the Rumble face Lesnar at Mania only to lose have Seth Rollins the next night cash in his MITB, Lesnar comes back at Summerslam faces Reigns and Rollins in a triple threat for the Championship. BOOK IT!

19.) 02 Dec 2014
Papa Shango!

20.) 02 Dec 2014
When I say a heel champ defend the title I meant actually retain.

Everyone expects to see the face end Mania holding the title above his head with the ticker tape falling down and the fire works.

Mix it up by having the heel standing over the fallen hero, building the fans desire to see the good guy win it eventually.

The two year build between seeing Bryan get screwed over at WM28 building to him winning at WM30 was perfect. I know they didn't plan it, but peoples desire to see him triumphant was amazing.

They could do that with Roman or Ziggler, have him beaten and struggle to get his chance, so people don't feel like he is being handed it.

21.) 02 Dec 2014
For what its worth seeing Randy beat Brock with the punt would be awesome, have him kick out of a few RKO's, push him to the point where he lines it up, the crowd would go mental.

Brock could go off with "a concussion" and they have the ready made feud if he ever wanted to come back.

The question is does anybody want to see Randy as champ again at the mo?
