I have enjoyed this site for a couple years now since I really got back into WWE but this is my first post, so here it goes!

I am really enjoying the current roster atm and Lesnar returning will only make things better but I have a few issues that annoy me every single week. The first (and probably main) is the constant dubious endings and/or disqualifications during matches. Take Rollins for example, why not let him have a pinfall win, clean or not, rather than getting DQ’d through interference by J&J or Kane ect. Hopefully this may improve now as it looks like The Authority seems to have almost turned their backs on him but I just think it makes him look very weak as a champion.

The next point and it has been mentioned before is I think the titles should change hands more frequently. I know creative try to build up fueds but having fillers like Rollins vs Ambrose just seems like a waste of time. Why not of had Ambrose win at Elimination Chamber cleanly and then Rollins win it back at MITB? It would just add more excitement, especially if there was title changes in an edition of Raw.

I’m not sure of where creative are going atm, especially after Battleground. I can see Lesnar winning and perhaps joining The Authority but I think Rollins will turn face, setting up a match with Triple H at Summerslam. Anybody else have any views to as where WWE will go after Battleground?

P.S Keep up the great site and discussions!

the problem with frequent title changes is it devalues the title. Think about MMA or boxing how often is the title defended, twice a year at the most. The WWE World Heavyweight Title being defended should be a big deal and therefore changing title holder should also be a big deal, if it changes every PPV how is that a big deal? I personally hated when they played hot potatoe with the title. Also the main event scene isn't really strong enough to do it. Back in the attitude era I can see why you had Austin, Rock, Taker, Kane, Foley, HHH and towards the end Jericho who were all deserving of holding the strap. The roster isn't that stacked at the moment. Also I am really enjoying the attempt at re-establishing some prestige to the midcard titles espcially Cena as US champ, I'm not his greatest fan but I am really enjoying his reign and open challenge. For me I would be happy with it not being defended every PPV have the mid card titles or number 1 contenders match headline some and have the WWE title defended say every other to give time for proper stories and rivalries to grow

I agree in a way that the WWE Title should not be changing every PPV but I don’t think once every so often would do any harm. Wrestling is obviously scripted but I think during the main events everyone can predict who will win, I felt that back in the day there was very often surprises which I feel WWE is lacking just now. I think as you said, if the title is going to be defended then make sure it is a proper match, with a proper build up, with a proper finish that either competitor could walk away with the title.

I also agree that the current roster isn’t up to the same standard as in big names like the Attitude Era but I think a few definitely have the potential to grow to massive names.

I am also enjoying what they are doing with Cena and the open US Title championship and I hope they continue it when he drops it and they should be bringing a bit more prestige back to the Intercontinental Title with the likes of Reigns, Wyatt and Ziggler all competing before making the jump to World Champ.

I think you just hit the nail with the hammer, I agree like I want it to be like it used to be where you never know what could happen now days its so easy to tell who or what will happen. I blame the PG Era tbh I mean I understand the little kids but growing up that's how wrestling was for us so why change wha was so great. well it's simple WWE has no companion to compete with so they really don't have to have those big headlining match and also the wwe network they believe if you want to see those matches you can use the network but its not as good. pleaseeeeee bring back more attitude and bigger and better matches

It won't get better until Vince is no longer the final decision maker. If we're lucky, Wrestlemania 32 will be his farewell and he'll then let HHH actually run things.

It will still be a work in progress, but finally having someone running things with a passion that Vince hasn't had since the 90's when his livelihood was on the line. Will be the biggest step in the right direction, to make things great again.
