Ok so no Orton no Cena for the next few months Orton for longer. Does this allow 2 younger Faces to move up a rung on the ladder. For me Ambrose & Cesaro are the most loved faces after Cena & Orton. Give them a shot.

Cena is rumored to be returning for TLC. If that's the case, I would expect him to return on the last RAW before the ppv (December 7th), so he can work the 'Tribute to the Troops' taping the next day. There is also a Live event in L. A. on December 19th, that will be headlined by Lesnar and will probably be another Network special, that he is expected to be doing.

Where there is absence, there is always opportunity. It is still Vince though, so the opportunity is rarely given to those that deserve it.

There is a slightly higher "reality era" rung for Ambrose to achieve, but the rungs he should be climbing up have been blocked off so well that even pipe bombs can't break through.

People like Cesaro. Vince likes Ryback. Guess which one will get pushed.

I suspect the WWE brought El Patron in to specifically replace Orton. Another established name as no risks are being taken.
Agree with you Jables. Ryback will get yet another pointless push. Ryback came out with this stupid quote, that he can be the face of the WWE. Right. The same way Hogan can be it's race relations officer.

They should bring back Hacksaw Jim Duggan for a night, to re-activate the television championship and announce a tournament to determine a new champ. Ryback's push should be winning the tournament. Then primarily facing the lower card types that he beat to win the title, he keeps it until the night after Mania. On that RAW he loses the title, in a squash, to a debuting Baron Corbin.

In real life, Rybak is supposed to be a nice bloke, time for fans, respected by his peers, but he is also the Worlds Most Serious Human Being (having taken this title from Jordan Henderson) .
Anyone who can refer to themselves as The Big Guy without falling over laughing just cannot have a sense of humour. The feed me more chants were old almost as soon as they started and he is just so limited and wooden both in the ring and on the mic. The WMSHB seems to believe his own hype and then some.

I feel for Ryback he would have been a huge star in the kayfabe days.

He is the most athletic guy in modern WWE, but he would have been booked as a killer in 1990. The fact he is a lean 100lbs heavier than most people he is being asked to fight counts for nothing in the reality era.

I would also say Ambrose and Cesaro are being slow built for success, they are not being rammed down your throat, they are being floated in front of your face offering you a bite, and plenty are taking a taste.

Nobody supports the guys that "don't deserve the push" so they seem to give people obstacles to jump so people get behind them.
