Is that the end of the line for the Romda Rousey Hype train? Will she still be such a big draw for the likes of WWE & Big Movies? I'm sure shel do fine. At the height of her popularity though that performance was highly embarrassing especially for acting like a stupid cow at the weigh ins. She got made look amateur. That moment when she dived in with a shot & got ducked her face when she span round was a picture so funny. Cheap shot from her at the end of the round showed how little class she has also. Exposed & crushed all in a night.

Watched the fight and I laughed. Don't get me wrong I am a fan of hers but she seemed more egotistical then last time. But I think she'll come back stronger and pretty much run through everyone. Got to say Holly Holm had a great plan and executed it to perfection. In terms of the hype train, her popularity will probably remain just as high.

You think she'll come back stronger mate that may have retired her she got embarrassed . She has one more chance at that Belt she has to get the Throw and Armbar or its over for her in my opinion.

Her heart wasn't in the Holms fight, and her primary focus hasn't been on fighting for awhile. Unless she can goat Cyborg into losing weight, for one last match, I think Rousey is done. I wouldn't be surprised if Ronda had a Lesnar like deal done with the WWE by Wrestlemania. Especially if the Roadhouse reboot/remake gets the full green light.

I was at one point a massive Rousey fan and was in awe of how she became the top draw in an organisation tgat not too long ago said there would never be female fighters on their cards. While still having massive respect for her fighting ability and star power, I popped like mad while watching the fight. Ronda apparently said after the weigh in that Holm should "Show some humility bitch". She should take her own advice after that near decapitation. I can't see her career being the same after this, that invincibility factor is shattered and she has shown that she is not as good as people thought, her stand up is pretty basic actually. I can't see WWE being half as interested as they were before this. I hope she bounces back and doesn't let this beat her but it was good to see her eat a bit of humble pie.

As long as Rousey's celebrity doesn't take a huge hit, I think the WWE will want her even more.

Its kind of what makes UFC a little more interesting than boxing. There really can be drama if the best in the world gets caught by a big kick or slips.

Holms was ready for her, wound her up, and took her chance.

I believe they have already teased a rematch.

There talking Rematch but I don't know if Ronda will want anymore of that. It's definitely made the Division more exciting there's so many fights to happen now. Tait and Zingano deserve another chance at Ronda and each other and Holm. It's still not good for the UFC losing the Ronda Factor. I liked her and respect her talent RBB but her actions recently just show a spoiled bitch. If she didn't create this character or play up that little bit though she wouldn't be who she is or was maybe she is just being herself. That turning it into a Grudge match at the last minute then Hitting Holm a sucker After the bell said more about her than any of her wins though.

I never thought these words would come from me when discussing UFC, but I agree with Lady GaGa. She twweted saying that's what you get for not touching gloves and that's exactly how I felt at the time. I'm all for people building fights with animosity and stuff like that, but when you are in the cage I think you should touch gloves when the ref gives you the chance to do so. Rousey also has a past record of being a bad winner and all these things combined led me to supporting Holm on fight night. There will be a rematch and it will go one of two ways, Rousey will forget about trying to strike with someone who is far superior to her in that field and will go straight for the takedown. Or she will try and strike with Holm again and will either be knocked out or done on points.

You do realise Brock lesnar got humiliated a few times in UFC? His popularity seems to be doing just fine. Ronda rousey is stil a huge pull for any crowd.

I am expecting a reaction here, but I just cannot agree with Bessex that MMA is more interesting than boxing. Boxing has more world wide appeal, some of the toughest and best athletes in the world, a legacy that any other sport would kill for, when an upset happens they are far more profound than Rousey losing and some of the biggest superstars in sport.
In my opinion, MMA is not fit to lace the sweet science's boots.

I am on the fence in the Boxing vs MMA debate. I love both and when there is a big fight in either I am buzzing, however boxing in recent years has taken a downturn and it is all down to the fighters and the promoters. How often nowadays do we get the best fighting the best in boxing? . Once or twice a year maybe. Because most of the best fighters are under one brand in UFC the best are constantly fighting the best. Too much ducking and diving in boxing for my liking, although some quality fights in the next two saturdays.

I feel the amount of strange decisions in boxing has tainted it's legacy over the last few years - that and champions being able to pick and chose who they fight to a large degree rather than having to face off the next best.

Boxing as a sport can be glorious, but the top level of boxing seems spectacularly corrupt.

Nobody wants to fight anybody unless there is a billion pounds on the table.

The UFC seems to try and put on the big matches as regularly as possible and you don't know who is going to win.

That's not to say I don't like goig to watch white collar boxing in Bristol with two blokes that are intent on knocking the other out in 3 rounds.

I'm sure he is talking bollocks, but Taz has been saying that the Rousey match was fixed, said how it was done and gave his reasons.
Boxing has far more regulations and controls than MMA.
Anyone who says boxing is boring at the moment has not seen Golovkin, Gonzalez or Crawford fight. It is also a boom time for British boxing, both professional and amateur.
The build up to Klitschko and Fury is more like a wrestling promotion than anything the WWE are doing at the moment (not necessarily a good thing, but it is quite funny.
If only SKY didn't have the majority of boxing.

Boxing isn't boring but the big events are rare. Golovkin is my favourite fighter right now and has been since dropping Macklin with that body shot. My problem is that everyone is just ducking the tough fights, you get an exciting fighter like GGG and all the other top fighters don't want to fight him. He wants the winner of Cotto and Canelo butnindon't think any of them will fight him.

I'm so out of touch with boxing I actually don't know half of these names.

I do know Tyson Fury has done a good job of making Britian support a Russian over him. #Heel.
