What a match between cena and cessaro. Cena's title reign has been surprisingly enjoyable.

It is rumored that Cena vs Owens will happen again at SummerSlam. So I wouldn't be surprised if they added Cesaro to the Battleground title match. That way the rubber match for Cena vs Owens would be at SummerSlam.

Cenas matches are so overrated in my opinion, no surprises there then. Even if his matches are good it is almost never because of him. The booking of his matches is what make them look half decent then he is isually in with a mechanic that makes him look good.

Who else gets multiple false finishes? Who else gets mutille finisher kick outs? Who else gets almost a 20 minute match on Raw every week?

The booking of his matches shows their hand, everything else is toned back so much that his matches look amazing. I have enjoyed his Kevin Owens matches but that is 90% Owens, 9% the booking and 1% Cena

I've been loving the US title open challenge. Nearly every match has been the best match of the night. I'm not a Cena fan at all but his US Title reign has been the best part of RAW or Smackdown for the last few months.

I used to play a wrestling management sim where the most successful recipe was to put someone who was great in ring with someone who got a big reaction and allow them to get all their stuff in.

When you do that you used to get rave reviews. Its almost too simple.

Cena deserves credit for being involved.

The highlight for me was seeing somebody slap on a sharpshooter properly for the first time since Brett.

Every match is the same, big move, kickout, big move kickout. I don't see it as great matches, more like, not as bad as the others. If everyone else got the same preferential treatment that Cena matches got then his would be nowhere near the best.

I thought the 8 man tag match was better. Cesaro is the man as usual, but I honestly don't see why these matches are rated so highly. The second someone kicks out a finisher the crowd starts '"this is awesome" chants. Seriously? Is that all it takes these days.

I will word it like this, Cesaro had another quality showing, but what did Cena do in this match that was any good?

For a second I thought Cesaro was going to win which makes it good match for both of them, I doubted what in my head I knew.

What I would also say if crowd participation makes a match, when people start getting in to it and being loud I start getting in to it.

I'm not saying other people couldn't have great matches if they booked a 20 minute 50/50 for any two guys, but if it was Cesaro and Swagger nobody would care enough to cheer.

I'd love to see a 20 minute Cesaro vs Rollins match with a title on the line and all the trimmings.

I know how deep your hatred for JC goes, but I think this midcard run is brilliant, and to find a loophole to criticise it suggests you won't ever be happy as long as the biggest full time active star in wrestling is working on telly.

{Ed008's Note - Just watch a match back in the day from say 2005-2007 any mid-card Title match and the crowd is behind it from the very 1st minute, these days it takes a name like Cena to get a reaction during his matches..

Don't get how anyone can't give cena some credit for he's matches. He's started throwing in some new moves aswell. Poor guy can't win

I'm with RBB here. Il say it again & again why can't every match be like a John Cena U.S. open Challenge? Why can't a Cesaro & a Luke Harper go have 20 minutes of brilliance? It's good for the Title it's good for Raw. This is Johns way of putting people over well they almost beat me even though I make there finishers look weak. This all came from Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville absolutely tearing the house down at NXT Takeover. John was helluva Jealous of the reaction NXT stars were getting. He personally Held a talent only "backstage meeting" about how they all had to up there game. Month or 2 down the line Cena v Authority & then Rusev finishes Johns the champ & now he's having the best matches every Raw & every PPV and everyone's talking about him again. Big Match Johns greed will never go away. I still think every time he walks into a hostile Crowd it kills him a little inside he's one of those people who just have to be loved by everyone.

Thats because his new moves suck as much as his old ones. Springboard stunner that he consistantly botches, a sh*tty looking monkey flip, that sunset flip powerbomb thing that takes him a year to do.

As for the audience, without wanting to be cruel, te majority of WWE live audiences are sh*t. They pop at Cena trying to act tough but a guy like Cesaro who is consistantly one of the best workers in the world gets crickets. I get that certain people have 'IT' but if you can't appreciate someone for busting their arse to be the best they can be in ring, but cheer for a sh*tty catchphrase then in my opinion you are a f*nny.

I'm not sure if everyone else is being told to be crap to make JC look good, but if they gave the time they are giving the US Open Challenge to everyone they could make all WWE worth watching.

You don't want it on Raw, why not let some of the mechanics have 30 minute matches, and most importantly make them for something, even if its only winner gets an IC title shot on Raw.

The US Title thing is great because its actually for something.

Everyone has there faourates big bear so to call people names for liking certain wrestler is just pathetic n childish

Cena is nobody's favourite, but if you don't criticise him objectively it kind of makes your ability to judge him irrelevant.

If you are incapable of complimenting when he does something right, why should we care when you are pointing out when he is doing something wrong?

A bit like why nobody cared about Alan Hanson moaning about defending, he never gives anyone credit and just complains about everyone's defending to the point that having your defending criticised by Alan Hanson meant nothing.

Right, someon tell me what Cena done in his match with Cesaro that was great. A decent DDT and maybe one other move, from what I can remember.

As for me being pathetic and childish. Everyone has the right to like who they like but when you have someone like Neville who has burst his arse to be the best at his craft and continues to try and better himself, comes out and gets crickets at times, then you go mental because someone comes out and shouts a catchphrase and that's it, then you are a fanny. To clarify I am not saying you shouldn't cheer the catchphrase but if you do and ignore the true talent then in my opinion that's what makes a fanny. If that makes me childish and pathetic than so be it, but i'd rather be that than be one of the fannys.

I thought two men and Kevin Owens on commentary just made for a good match.

I thought Cena sold well, I particularly noticed it when he was let out of the first sharpshooter, and crawled around holding his back.

I thought the springboard stunner (which I will grant you is a dumb move) spot was good.

Overall I just enjoyed the whole thing.

I want Cesaro to get as much credit as Cena, I'm not defending Cena, I'm defending the match.

Neville is great at Wrestling, but I don't think he is connecting with the fans to a top level just yet.

Ye n Neville's time will come big bear but you find anything to complain about haha n I think not been able to give credit to any wwe superstar they all put there bodies through shit so whether you think there good or not deserve credit
