Quick question - has the US title overtaken the IC title for relevance?
And if so does that not tarnish the IC title massively?

Yes it has mainly down to Cena and the U.S. Challenge' but since Barrett had the Ic title it has lost relevance because he kept on losing singles matches,which makes a mockery of the belt and whoever has it afterwards, however if Bryan was still healthy it would be a different answer with Cena vs Bryan at SummerSlam unifying the titles

In terms of relevance, I would put the IC title below every title in WWE right now. Despite that, I don't think it's been massively tarnished. Like every time before, all it should take is a few good fueds and matches to get the title back to prominence.

I would say they are still on a par, the US is more heavily featured at the moment because Rusev and John Cena have had back to back great runs with it.
I personally still think the IC is in good shape, Ryback is pretty over, he is only going up, he is getting the a crappy deal by having to work with Show, Henry, and Miz, presumably because they want him to look vulnerable but keep winning.
Its a lot of dead wood for the Big Guy to cut through. If he was feuding with the reinvigorated talent of the New Day he could still appear vulnerable because its 3 on 1 but be working with relivent talented guys for a few weeks.

That said being the NXT champion seems to be the direct route to being a superstar at the moment.
Though don't tell Big E or Bo that.

Sorry but there is nothin good about ryback he bores me to tears just as much as the big show I couldn't think of a worse feud I was gutted when ryback won the title

Sheamus winning at Elimination Chamber would have been so so much better than Ryback, It would have been nice to see 2 top stars like him & Orton duking it out for the IC title. Roman Reigns could have won MITB & still had this feud with Wyatt not letting him cash in. I really think all that would have been a million times better than this. They just get it so wrong. I predict a Mr Finn Balor bringing the prestige back to that Title before this time next year.
{Ed023's Note - Agree with everything}

I don't think that the IC is less prestigious than the US, it is just that the US is far more exciting at the moment. Cena has ensured he has 2 of the most exciting talents aorund in Owens & Cesaro to make him look good, while Ryback/Big Show/Miz just does not excite.
Ryback & Show have next to no charisma. I am getting sick to death with 'finish it' and I don't believe Ryback can change his character. Even if he turned heel, he would act exactly the same.
I wouldn't mind Miz winning the title and, like RM8 suggests, defending against the likes of Balor, Neville, Rhodes and other quicker, more athletic wrestlers. The occasional bigger man can be involved, but these should be the likes of Barrett and Orton.
The IC title would then have the draw & interest it's history deserves.

I was fine with Ryback winning the title and even though they wouldn't of made my top ten of wrestlers I would of chosen to face him, I'm fine with Miz and Big Show as well. The thing that annoys me is that they aren't doing a single thing to indicate that Vince isn't just going to pull something out of his ass in deciding who challenges for the title next. There needs to be at least some semblance of an IC division again. Make any of Ziggler/Rusev, Orton/Sheamus, or Wyatt/Reigns a #1 contenders match and/or have several wrestlers make it apparent that they are going after the IC title. A fued like Barrett vs R-Truth was never going to be anything special, but if they would of made it clear that the winner would even become a contender to the contenders. It would of at least been a passable steppingstone fued that would of created a little intrigue into what would happen next for the victor.
