I have heard nothing but positives about this show, after reading the report I am pencilling the full 2 hours in to watch it beginning to end.
I haven't watched a wrestling show start to finish in yonks.
2.) Best WWE show of the year imo. Well worth a watch in full

Absolute must see. In my opinion all 4 of NXT's ppv's are in the top 5 WWE shows this year. Incredible.
4.) Brilliant show and how tough is Owens? Balor's entrance was brilliant too, imagine it at WrestleMania lol ---all in all a great show and a great twist at the end.
5.) Owens/Steen is seriously tough as is Sami check out the Ladder War vs The Briscoes and the matches they had against each other the Ladder Match at Final Battle and any guerilla warfare match in PWG
6.) The Best Show since Mania.
Balor and Hitomi are awesome.
Owens looks great.
Sami and Neville are both still awesome.
This show was awesome, and better still it set up the next months worth of shows. Its basic booking but when done well its so moreish.

I saw on here that UFC Womens champ Ronda Rousey was interested in doing something with WWE she was at PWG Untitled 2 so she knows her wrestling. Also she got physically involved in Ciampa vs Bisick. Not sure it means anything but thought is was worth a mention

So the legendary James E Cornette has been added to the WWE alumni page.
Part of a storyline perhaps joining Punk or Bryan?
1.) JEPW just creamed his pants!
2.) This is surely just trolling JEPW?
3.) I saw that and I thought it must be too coincidental that it happened a day after jim Ross left maybe that was one of the things mcmahon and Ross said before he went.
But the chances of jim cornette coming back to wwe are low but not zero.
In recent years he seems to be less f*** wwe and more f*** tna and with laurinitis out and dutch in there could be a chance of him returning. AND I HOPE SO.
4.) But look at the profile and more importantly the photo because that photo looks new hmmmmm.
He would fit right in with the current storyline. The possibilities are endless. Damn it mcmahon make it happen
5.) I can only see two reason why Jim would be added Hall Of Fame and rightly so, or he'll be part of a storyline with Punk or Bryan. He's not a fan of Heyman or HHH known as a bit of a loose cannon so would fit in perfectly and he's one of the greatest managers of all time and one hell of a promo guy which is one thing Danielson lacks.
Cue The Midnight Express Music.
6.) Actually he does not dislike heyman he just dislikes hardcore wrestling and dislikes paul heyman's lies. he will not comeback oh well.

Sami Callihan is now Solomon Crowe.

1.) Ed can we do something about these agree/disagree buttons as this post is spot on. why these pillocks want to disagree i'll never know! {Ed023's Note - I have passed on the word for you}
2.) It does seem odd that someone would disagree with a fact, but I wouldn't let it bother you.
If someone disagrees with fact then who is really looking daft?

4.) Maybe they are not disagreeing with the facts but disagreeing with the name change maybe they do not like the name change I do not

6.) All of these NXT name changes do sound like they have a big pot of first names and surnames and you just get a guy to pick one from each.

7.) There are couple of reasons they change player names
- wrestlers want to keep rights to their indie name
- name doesn't suit the gimmick
- WWE doesn't think name is catchy/marketable

8.) A8 the first reason makes no sense why would they want to change the name they became famous off of.
the second reason the name does not suit the gimmick well surely the guy or gal would know what name suited his personality before he came to the wwe, surely he was doing something right.
the third reason wwe doesn't think it is catchy/marketable are you telling me that Solomon crowe and kalisto are because guess what they are not and "dirty" dutch mantel and Michael P. S. Hayes are a lot more marketable than zeb colter and dox Hendrix.
the only reason they change their names is because their previous name is their wrestling name and they must give them a new better sports entertainment name as it is totally different from that professional wrestling.
9.) If I was say El Generico and joined WWE I don't think I'd want them having the rights to my gimmick in case it didn't work work out, so I can understand the name change from that perspective. But I just don't think WWE want to acknowledge that anyone had a career pre signing with them
10.) They would not have the rights to their gimmicks they can not just steal someone's intellectual property, bret hart owns the hitman name and they still used bret the hitman hart after he owned it.
11.) Not saying WWE would steal it but I would think they'd want the wrestler to sign it over to them for merchandising ect pretty sure I heard something about it in a RF shoot interview but can't remember who it was with
12.) Why would they want you to sign it over that is what the legend deals are. Not the development deals, they signed cm punk and used cm punk obviously they do not make you sign it over.
13.) WWE also want to have control over Names they made for merch sales. Remember When Nash and Hall left WWE and their was a few matches with fake Diesel and fake Razor Ramone.
Also there was still merch sales of names that are not in WWE, but WWE hold rights to those names. (look official WWE store from time to time)

14.) And when they sell lots of merch the person who the merch is about gets a lot of money so they would want the best name and the name they picked would be the name they would think is the best
15.) I was of the impression that the WWE wants to copyright all of their performers names, so that they can use them in video games and the like forever.
I know Danial Bryan had suggested he didn't like the idea of them owning his real name forever, after he had any control.
Fesably he could be used in commersials and things after he is dead.

If you read Brets book the reason he was able to keep using the Hitman name was due to a clause he had in his last WWF contract which gave him the rights to the Hitman name.

17.) Its something the WWE have smartened up to a lot in the last few years.
I suppose it stops guys going away and using the fame they built in WWE to promote another company the way Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, and the like are doing.
The modern way of owning the charactor and gimmick means you get a Bully Ray of Team 3D rather than the much more repultable Bubba Ray Dudley.
18.) Mattsomenumbers I read the book and I remember that but they still used the hitman name after he owned it.
