I just read that Bret Hart is holding out to induct Owen in to the Hall of Fame next year (which I have absolutely no issue with, that's over due) but he went on to say if they don't induct them he will stop going to the ceremonies.

Adding the only thing that will bring him back if they don't put Owen in is when they induct The Hart Foundation as the Tag Team of himself and The Anvil, and the full Hart Foundation Stable (Bret, Owen, Pillman, Bulldog, and Anvil)

I've heard it said a few time Bret Hart is a mark for himself but to publicly demand your two teams are added in, as well as your brother, and you want to induct him leaves me thinking he lacks decorum.

I'm surprised he isn't asking for his Owen tribute match with Beniot to be added in to the match section or to be given the Warrior award because he didn't sleep with Sunny.

{Ed007's Note - I've said for a while that I don't think Bret Hart is in the best of mental health. I feel that he's never fully recovered from his stroke in 2002 from which he still suffers from an emotional imbalance and other lasting effects common to stroke survivors, and because of all that I tend to cut him a bit of slack these days when he says controversial or inappropriate comments.
Maybe I'm making excuses for him because I loved him when I was a pup but I think you have to take his physical and mental health into account when judging him in modern times.}

To be fair he's basically just doing the same thing a lot of the biggest stars of his era have been doing for a long time. At least he's doing it for a cause.

I tend to agree Ed. Bret was always one of my favourites, but he is just a shadow of his majestic best. His recent appearances have had me very concerned for his well being.
I am certain he has not forgiven Vince and any perceived snubbing of Owen, Bulldog or the Anvil will only add to the obvious bitterness that is eating away at him.

{Ed007's Note - Yeah it's sad to see.}

Don't WWE still regard the widow of Owen as having the final say? Last I heard she was refusing any attempt by WWE as she still blames them for his death. Bret has openly criticised her for not allowing Owen to be inducted.

I agree with you Ed there is a definite and noticeable difference in Bret since the stroke. It has clearly affected his emotional and mental faculties which is a shame as he is my all time favourite. Yes he does say controversial things but so do a lot of the legends. I tend to give him the benefit if the doubt especially with regard to Owen as clearly he still feels some modicum of guilt over not being there to talk him out of the stunt

I suppose Bret isn't quite all there.

Didn't he say Triple H has never had a match better than 4/10 the other year, that suggests he is still angry.

He also said WWE hadn't been the same since CM Punk left.

Also talking of Sunny anyone seen her new Skype venture?

I haven't, but I can guess what it is.

{Ed007's Note - I was hoping someone would give a general description, I've not got Skype but Ed001 is on my case about these podcasts he's got a hard-on for just now. I have a sneaky feeling that I would rather Skype with Sunny than with Ed001 or Ed008.}

Ed,if you have a look on youtube there is a promotion for the Skype with Sunny. Looks absolutely gross and once you have seen this, it might change your mind about the other Eds.

{Ed007's Note - This definitely warrants further investigation... probably after the Mrs goes to bed though :) If it was wee Mickie James she might have had a peek because..... Oh I've said too much here, she'll kill me if she sees this!}

Bessex, he said HHH had never had a 4 star match, which is out of 5 not 10.

That makes more sense

Yeah that makes more sense, and I love the Hitman, but I can't agree with him on this. Just off the top of my head these are some great HHH Matches:

HHH V Rock Ladder match, HHH V Rock Iron Man Match, HHH V Cactus Jack HIAC and the Street Fight with Foley, HHH V Shawn Summerslam, 3 stages of Hell match v Austin, HHH V Bryan at WM30,

He also had a solid run of matches with Jeff Hardy and going back further with Benoit.
