Just wanted to ask people what wrestling shows they watch?

I currently watch NJPW full time, been watching it for around 4 years,

I watch the odd WWE programme (more when their a interesting match going to happen, stopped watching it fully after Punk pipebomb and he lost to HHH) I find it too cartoony and prefer "real" wrestlers with a bit of a edge, hoping they do something with the 4 NJPW coming over, might bring me back if they are used properly

Stop watching TNA fully when Hogan and Bischoff came, I thought WCW all over again, only segments I watched were the AJ Styles ones (even those test me until he did the "Lone Wolf" gimmick) and MCMG until Shelley went Japan

Watch the odd ROH, NXT, NOAH etc. when I get a bit of free time

WWE on very rare occasions but stopped watching full time after Punk left and stopped watching frequently after McIntyre left.

Watch a lot of old WCW and WWF but other than that I'll only watch ICW.

I watch wwe just praying for it to evolve so much talent being unused. A would love a main event scene with owens ambrose cesaro rollins brock balor Samoa joe zayn and neville and others but no way.

{Ed039's Note - That's a hell of a lot of talent, surely some would have to be mid card as opposed to main event. I mean you have named 9 "and others")

3.) 08 Jan 2016 21:43:29
They need to make the shows appeal to all types of audiences, if they made Raw more PG13 (edgier) and Smackdown a PG, it be more entertaining for older fans and give Smackdown a purpose as well to watch.

4.) 09 Jan 2016 00:17:15
Sorry for so many talents lol a just mean wwe has so much to offer and look at the cap we watch ed039.

5.) 09 Jan 2016 01:20:42
Ambrose Neville cesaro lesner and Kevin Owens are the real stand out ones. Especially cesaro.

6.) 09 Jan 2016 03:08:26
I skip through most Raws PPVs but NXT and ICW I watch religiously I've watched bits of NJPW Lucha and ROH I watch most ROH PPVs. If I was going to Stop them all and just go with 1 it would be ICW hands down.

7.) 09 Jan 2016 09:50:26
Have NJPW got an OD service like ICW? I just watch WWE and NXT, like others I'm hoping for it to get better (hopefully it will get better when the injured stars return)

I've watched ICW at times and would like to go to a live show soon.

8.) 09 Jan 2016 10:38:32
I watch RAW but tend to skip through a lot of it, I also watch NXT imo at the moment NXT is a superb product.
I occasionally watch ROH when I remember.

9.) 09 Jan 2016 11:09:27
NJPW have its own network just like the WWE, google it, it's works out about £5 per month and you can watch everything on their.

10.) 09 Jan 2016 11:58:07
Amazon fire stick with kodi. Gives u all the wwe and nxt shows live and re runs the nxt day of tna roh njpw and lucha.

11.) 09 Jan 2016 11:58:40
Oh and icw.

12.) 09 Jan 2016 17:35:30
Cheers Shane and Haggis. I'll try and check out ROH and NJPW. I've seen old ROH stuff but not much NJPW. I'm tempted to give NJPW and Lucha Underground a go.

{Ed039's Note - I understand what you are getting at though, however I think most of the problems are the 3 hour Raw, I mean 15 segments with adverts DURING the matches, its just asking to be turned over and tuned out, NXT is far more entertaining than the other brands because it isn't being used for commercial purposes, its more of an old fashioned show where the highlight is the talent, I think if Raw was more like this then the good workers that everyone is bored of would get more of a chance to shine and fans would stay tuned in)

First time poster on this page

I haven't watched the WWE Main Brand consistently over 3 years as I got bored of the product and being the "wrong audience" with the cartoon wrestling, however NXT looks promising and I watched about a few espiodes in the past 6 months and noticed Prince Devitt making a name for himself

I been watching NJPW in that time period consistency, I prefer the art of actually telling a story via the ring and actually the art form of wrestling itself

I decided to post on here as you know 4 top NJPW stars are going over to WWE soon with my all time favourite AJ Styles going, just wanteveryone thoughts on the 4 wrestlers and where you see them going , debating to take back up watching the WWE once again, hopefully some sort of invasion of the 3 ex bullet club members, think Kenny Omega would be a good addition aswell

A couldn't b happier if aj styles turned up and was used as he deserves to be used he's a amazing athlete/ wrestler. not seen much of nakamura but what a match with styles at wrestle Kingdom. And a think if pushed strongly gallows and Anderson would be strong additions to the tag devision.

2.) 06 Jan 2016 16:39:42
I'm not 100% that WWE will use them as a main event deal.

I saw Balor tweet today "They should have been here by now" with a photo of him stood outside the performance centre in a Bullet Club shirt.

It made me wonder if they are on the way to NXT rather than a Royal Rumble debut.

I newer saw much in Doc Gallows while he was working in WWE before, and AJ Styles TNA work was good in general but I never really got in to him.

I'm hoping the bust the door down and we see a shift in the way the WWE makes TV.

3.) 06 Jan 2016 17:16:16
Rocky Romero, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga are also rumored to be negotiating with WWE/ NXT.

The NJPW 4 remind me a lot of the Radicalz. (Hopefully with a lot less health and mental problems. ) There's a lot of talent for Nakamura and Styles to work with. I can't wait to see them wrestle:
Rollins
Cesaro
Owens
Ambrose
Ziggler
ADR
Jericho
Harper
Neville
Kalisto
Zayn
Balor
Itami
Breeze
and if we're trully lucky, Punk and/ or Daniel Bryan.

4.) 06 Jan 2016 17:29:06
I don't think they will all be a main event deal but AJ and Nakamuras star will shine as bright as any in WWE. Like Jables said the dream matches. It's a shame for NJPW do you think they have there new superstar in the making in Okada anyway?

5.) 06 Jan 2016 17:30:15
If you imagine Freddie Mercury/ Michael Jackson were a wrestler you get Shinsuke Nakamura, he what a wrestler should be, he entertaining, crazy and a badass, he the best wrestler in the world today and oozzze charisma

AJ Styles has matured since wrestling in NJPW, he more aggressive, learn the psychology part and learn to make every move count, Styles/ Nakamura was a good match but he had better matches with Tanasashi and Okada, I think they both wrestled hurt so had to go easier in that match but the psychology in that match was fantastic

The Machine Gun and Doc are slightly more adult ordinated so they going to have to tone down, two things about the Machine Gun is his finisher the Stun Gun is similar to the RKO and his nickname isn't PG Friendly, I hope they are used right, I think they are a perfect team and personally Karl Anderson is the most underrated wrestler today, his match against Nakamura was a better match than Styles and Nakamura

If they are used more to appeal to the older generation (16+ years old guys) and some rebel and badass thrown in, they need to appeal to a different audience instead of the typical 12 year old children.

6.) 06 Jan 2016 17:41:12
Okada is the next one for them, he I'm guessing someone like Reigns now were Tanasashi is John Cena, they along with Nakamura are super over in Japan

I hope Kenny Omega gets the push he deserves and becomes what AJ Styles was as the best import wrestler, he has so much potential amd his Final Fantasy entrances are super over

Regarding Tonga, I hope he stays, think it be too soon for him, think he needs a good feud to get him going and could become the no2 guy in the Bullet Club, Fale (all his does is just folds his arms) and Rocky Romero I hope he stays as I like RPG Vice and has a nice spot in NJPW.

7.) 06 Jan 2016 20:08:48
I like Rapongi Vice I thought they wanted Romero as a Coach at Full Sail though at 33 there's no way he can be ready to give up his career I wouldn't imagine. The Nakamura comparison to Freddie Mercury is so true lol. Would anyone be surprised to see them throw Him Itami and Asuka together they'd be a deadly faction and the merchandise would probably sell itself abroad!

8.) 06 Jan 2016 20:37:51
The Nakamura one is interesting. He will either be a huge success or a complete failure. He is huge in Japan and I suspect that he will be used in NXT first to build his reputation in the States. Either that or the 4 of them will make a spectacular entrance, maybe even backing Balor up Like Bessex suggests.
Bullet Club, blow the doors down.

9.) 06 Jan 2016 21:28:42
It be the Balor Club or something, not sure who has the rights to Bullet Club but can't see WWE allowing them to use it plus the Bullet Club hasn't disbanded in NJPW, they though have been severely weaken with arguably the three biggest names of the stable leaving, if Omega left aswell they probably would have to disband, they still have the Young Bucks, Tonga and that but probably need someone to as well to complement them.

10.) 07 Jan 2016 00:31:16
Meltzer said that Styles and Nakamura weren't signed for NXT. I hope that's true. Styles vs Cena writes itself, and Nakamura vs anybody is money. Anderson and Gallows can join Finn and officially start Balor Club. Which not only maintains Kayfabe but also keeps Balor from being third banana in his own stable.

11.) 07 Jan 2016 10:58:53
Its my lack of Japan education talking here, but as a WWE fan, who only occasionally reads reports or you tubes anything else I don't see Balor as being a smaller deal than Styles or Nakamura.

Finn is the one that's been tearing it up on my screen, I haven't seen much of the other two in a long time.

I absolutely hope WWE doesn't go the racial way and make an all Japanese stable.

The world is smaller these days and WWE shouldn't just be Americans vs the world.

They need to be cool heels to attract the 18+ plus audiences back into watching this product, as these days it's like watching a espiode of Seaseme Street but with wrestlers, their main audience is kids but have the WWE network for adults/ hardcore fans, they need to make excitable for all audiences.

All we need is a $100,000 bounty on Reigns and it's be 98/ 99 all over again, AJ Styles will invade and target someone and take out (Undertaker ministry of darkness scenario anyone)

The Bullet Club are a stable in NJPW, think nWo 2.0, they are the typical American stable who will cheat and do all the American tricks you see in the WWE, wrestlers wise they have some talented guys in particular Kenny Omega (The new leader), The Young Bucks, some established stars who are on the way to the WWE in AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows amd some unknowns in Bad Luck Fale, Cody Hall, Tama Tonga.

Beats HHH vs Reigns for the WWE championship, they planning to bring Austin, Rock back for the WM Season to appease the older fans, the WWE need to watch how they book this or the older fans are going to *beep* all over them again and they don't have Bryan to save them this time.
