Was just wondering what people thought was the match of the year so far. I loved the 3 way at the royal rumble, and all the cena-owens matches, but no match had me as emotionally invested as Sasha and Bailey. I'd have to say its #1 so far.

I don't think I've been more in to any match than when Cena put the US Open challenge to Cesaro the first time and it really looked like he was going to win until Owens ran in.

I was on the edge of my seat for that one.

The standard of matches has been pretty high this year. I agree with the ones already mentioned: Triple Threat at the Rumble, Sasha v Bailey, Cena V Owens, Most of Cena's US Open challenge matches were good. I also enjoyed both Balor v Owens matches, Reigns v Bryan at Fastlane, Reigns v Lesnar WM, Rollins v Amvrose ladder match at MITB, Rollins v Cea Summerslam (great match with a dodgy ending)

For me MOTY so far has been the Triple Threat at the Royal Rumble, and I never thought I'd ever say this but the best 1v1 match this year has been a Diva's match - Sasha v Bailey.

{Ed008's Note - The triple threat at the Royal Rumble and Sasha vs Bayley at NXT Brooklyn. My third favourite match? Lesnar vs Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania after watching it a few times.

Yeah for me it would be one of Owens vs balor, Rollins vs ambrose, sasha v bayley or sasha vs becky lynch - I think in all honesty the nxt woman's matches have bettered the wwe divas hands down all year long.

Nobody has picked a stinker, there have been plenty more great matches.

Harper, Rusev, Zigler, and Cesaro have a great standard on almost every Raw and Smackdown.

For me its Balor v Neville at NXT Rival for the #1 contendership, think that's gone on to be the most forgotten for some reason. If were just including main roster then the triple threat at the Rumble.

OK, what about Worst Match of the Year? For me it would have to be the Royal Rumble match itself. That was probably the worst booking I've ever seen in a match, it was astoundingly bad. I'd also have to say any Ascension match would be high on my stinkers list.

{Ed008's Note - Royal Rumble and the IC Title match at the Elimination Chamber for me.

Anything involving Mojo Rawley tends to suck pretty bad.

Royal Rumble was awful, but I really hate the Ryback/Big Show matches.
I feel a bit sorry for The Ascension. They came from NXT and were portrayed as a new LOD and were obviously told to snarl at camera as much as possible. The tag team division was at an all time low and it looked as if the title was there for the taking.
Instead of a new Legion, we had a parody of what a tag team should be. If they ever wanted to have a wrestling version of Spinal Tap, you need look no further than The Ascension.

The Rumble match will go down as one of the worst non crazy gimmick matches of all time. 58 year old DDP is the only one out of 30/31 wrestlers to leave the match, looking stronger than he did when he went in. The upper mid card got crapped on more than Tony Atlas. Even the guy that everything was set up for, to make look better, came off looking more "lucky" than strong.

Anything with Eva Marie is a dishonorable mention.

We are only scoring top matches I take it, I'm sure the real stinkers were ones we are not paying attention to.

I'm sure Adam Rose vs Darren Young on Superstars isn't exactly an exhibition.
