I'm probably in the minority here but as much as I like Goldberg, Taker and Lesnar I really don't want to see them them all dominate or worse one of them win the rumble. I want to see something fresh and new not just a redo of early noughties rumbles. The last 5 or 10 rumbles have been so obvious and I think I have called the last 5 before they even started and that even included the "surprise" return of Triple H. I'd much rather see WWE take a punt by allowing someone like Balor, Joe or even Zayn now that he is in the match. I'd even take the Miz due to his great work this year. I dunno. What do you guys think?

Best possible booking would be for Goldberg and Lesnar to be 1st and 2nd entrant and eliminate each other before anyone else arrives. Failing that have Lesnar enter early dominate until Goldberg comes out and then eliminate each other.
Taker will be a late entry as he can't go the distance I think. So he will arrive late most likely make it to the final 4 then get eliminated by his Mania opponent (perhaps someone already out of the Rumble) .
That leaves a new winner and a fresh Mania main event.

I hope your right. I have seen the odds and a lot have Goldberg as favourite now with Strowman second. I'm still hoping for a Balor return to win the rumble and go on to face Owens for the belt Balor never lost.

Not on your own Luket. When they split the brand they claimed it was a new start and on Smackdown at least, it has been a breath of fresh air. I know Cena and others are still big, but I don't mind that when they are mixed with Styles, Corbin etc.
It is RAW which has lost the plot. With Balor injured, the plan has been to revert to the old guard.
Same for the Rumble. Would love to see someone like Joe, Corbin and Strowman to win, but Goldberg, Lesnar and even my old favourite Taker are draws for non-wrestling fans. With RAW's viewing figures as they are, I am afraid they will play it safe and we will build up to a Mania dominated by ex members of the Shield, Goldberg, Lesnar, Taker, HHH etc.

I'm guessing Owens retains (loses it at Fastlane maybe? ) and Cena wins. I'm also guessing Finn isn't ready yet.

So for my final 8 I'd have: Jericho, Lesnar, Joe, Strowman, Bray, Ambrose, Orton, and Undertaker. Ambrose, Bray, and Orton team up to Eliminate Lesnar. Strowman eliminates Orton, Undertaker and Bray eliminate Strowman, and Joe eliminates Jericho.
Leaving a final 4 of: Joe, Undertaker, Bray, and Ambrose.
Joe eliminates Taker, Bray and Ambrose eliminate Joe. Bray and Ambrose go at it for like 10 minutes and then I don't care which one wins.

Call me old fashioned but I like to see a big guy win the rumble. The only question is which big guy do I want to e get a title shot at Mania.

I'm loving Strowman, and I'd love to see the Taker get the strap one last time, Joe would be great but I'm not 100% on why everyone is so sure he will be in the match?

Not entirely rumble related but would genuinely love to see them push some fresh faces. Undertaker winning the rumble than he titles at mania is fair enough if he wants to retire after that as it is deserved.

But perfect example of not wanting to push new faces is strowman. Last few weeks have had the chance to push him by having him dominate/ beat down either Lesnar or the Big Show only to have him back down. if they really want to push him as the new "big man" could've just had him beat one of them (personally think big show was a massively missed chance as is older now and can't put on a good match compared to Lesnar, plus likes the wider appeal of lesnar) .

For me any match that Lesnar, Goldberg or Taker is in at Mania will generate hype. They don't need to win the rumble or compete for a title.

The Joe stuff is a product of 2 rumors coming out within a week or so, people ignorantly trying to connect them, and betting sites running with it.

I think the Rumble should usually tilt in the favor of a big guy, but not be bound to it always being won by one. Strowman, Corbin, and Joe should be booked from here on out to be the favorites next year, but I don't think any of them are in the right spot yet for this year's. Taker's situation is something we could probably debate about forever.

For me it's never about someone walking away from a fight, it's about what they do after. Strowman being cunning and having some intelligence, is a lot scarier to me than him being another idiot big man that just charges into every situation.
