Anyone else see Lesnar costing Owens the title at Fast lane after the promo on Raw?

Seems it is going to happen and would be a good way for Owens to stay looking strong heading into Mania.

It is Goldberg, and he is facing a guy named Kevin. So I'm going to go with Scott Hall tazering Goldberg to help Owens win.

Seriously though. With HHH re-entering the picture, Owens should retain somehow. It still wouldn't surprise though if Old-Greenberg won the title.

2.) 24 Feb 2017 09:52:08
I think Joe and HHH will form a stable with Owens, potentially leading to the Shield reforming for Summerslam.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 12:03:51
Yeah I can see HHH, Owens, Joe joining up. It could have a few others in the stable (The Revival maybe? ) or maybe go for a 2 man power trip type of story line.

4.) 25 Feb 2017 11:39:39
I cannot see Owens beating Goldberg unless Lesnar costs Goldberg the title. Which is a shame. There is no need for Goldberg/ Lesnar to have a title at stake apart from selling Mania to a broader audience.
I expect Lesnar to beat Goldberg at Mania and we will have a part time champ again.
Owens will face Jericho and KO will become US champion allowing Jericho to go on tour.

5.) 27 Feb 2017 10:39:22
I'd be tempted to have Goldberg beat Owens by DQ after Jericho shows up and does something horrible to Owens.

Aiming for something on a par with putting your face through a tv.

Been away from here for a while as not had any time to watch the shows.

I've kept up to date with things online but nothing has really sparked my interest that heavily.

Am I wrong? Is there anything from the last three months that I should catch up watching?

mickrude

1.) 13 Jun 2016 14:36:24
Not really, the post Wrestlemania months really seem like they are just planting little seeds.

Make sure you watch Nakamura vs Zayne from the last Takeover, almost everything else is just trying to catch up.

2.) 13 Jun 2016 15:56:40
I'm on the same boat as you pal, only saw The Raw after Mania and kept up with online. I really don't feel like I've missed out I Will catch up on Takeover The End though.

3.) 14 Jun 2016 17:34:58
I haven't ever had time for NXT. I still like seeing people debut on the main shows and having no idea who they are or what their character will be like.

4.) 15 Jun 2016 09:21:21
NXT is much more focused on the small talent pool they have, I feel bad if you have only ever seen Bo, Tyler, or the Ascension on WWE programming.

They absolutely are lost in the mix.

5.) 15 Jun 2016 22:36:40
I see your point mick mate about an exciting debut but they days are gone. Best to just get your ass into nxt and enjoy buddy. Aries roode joe young are all veterans easily recognisable if u don't know the up and comers.

Anyone else think Shane was blowing a little too much after a three minute ruck?

Doesn't bode well for what could be the main event at Mania

mickrude

1.) 29 Mar 2016 19:56:04
Agree with you Mick, but I think we all know this will not be a straight-forward match and there will be outside interference and I am sure a massive twist.
In wrestling terms, Shane is not fit to even be in the same ring as Taker and I am sure the Taker will be able to carry Shane until that twist happens.

2.) 30 Mar 2016 10:33:50
Shane has the advantage of being Shane, if Taker hits him with anything he can legit lay there for a minute.

3.) 30 Mar 2016 13:32:29
anyone else see Seth having an outcome in the HIAC match?

Bret Hart diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Hope he pulls through - he kinda sounds a bit bitter these days but was one of my favourites growing up. His win over Flair on WWF superstars was massive back in the day seeing as it came out of the blue

mickrude

{Ed007's Note - Very sad news that, our thoughts and prayers go out to him, his family and friends.}

1.) 01 Feb 2016 19:46:49
Read that and agree it is very sad. He hasn't looked right for some considerable time now and like mick said, he does come across as a bitter man. He is one of the all time greats and he should have enjoyed the same adulation as Flair and Hogan (well before he was outed as a racist) but he hasn't. Such a shame and I wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery.

2.) 01 Feb 2016 22:25:06
seriously Mick, the man lost his brother and brother in law as well had a massive stroke. Cut him some slack lol.

3.) 02 Feb 2016 07:52:43
Hitman has always been my favourite, Hooe he pulls through this just like he did with his stroke.

4.) 02 Feb 2016 18:31:41
When you put it like that Lee he's actually quite happy go lucky!

5.) 03 Feb 2016 12:44:02
lol mick.

Wow I actually predicted something right. Reigns to defend the title in the actual rumble.

Defo playing the euros tonight!

mickrude

1.) 05 Jan 2016 08:29:42
It's so Reigns can become the first ever gimmick match, ppv title defense, decathlete.
Royal Rumble match
Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Extreme Rules match
Elimination Chamber match
King of the Ring matches
Money in the Bank match
Champion vs Champion
Hell in a Cell match
Survivor Series match
TLC match.

2.) 05 Jan 2016 09:32:17
I only hope they are not daft enough to have Roman win the RR.

I am ok with this as a stipulation, it fits well with the idea that the Authority want to screw RR, I assume Roman loses, and then we build to him reclaiming it in the Mania main event.

Its a nice switch up.

Remember when they wanted to put the title on Flair but didn't want him to pin Hogan so they stripped Hogan of the title and made it for the winner of the Rumble in about 93 or 94 I think?

3.) 05 Jan 2016 13:22:46
It was 92 Bessex. Watched the whole thing again last week on the network.

4.) 05 Jan 2016 14:34:04
Me and my mate used to walk around pretending to be Flair and Perfect when that was on telly.

10 years old mind. Whoooo!

{Ed007's Note - 10 years old my ar$e!}

5.) 05 Jan 2016 20:03:42
Am I the only one who still does the Bushwackers walk?

6.) 06 Jan 2016 09:30:37
I only do the Bushwackers walk when I hear a cowbell.

Born in 82, Ed.

For me it depends on if you look at it in hindsight or not.

Wrestlemania 8 was the most I marked out at. Undertaker, Macho Man, Warriors return.

Then you watch it back and realise the actual matches were pretty awful.

Survivor Series Deadly Games live was a damp good watch too.

Hollywood Rock was the perfect heel - possibly his best ever work.

Mr Perfect, his original run and smashing the championship belt was awesome.

Jake the Snake Roberts - the feuds against Macho Man, The Ultimate Warrior vignettes (though didn't lead to a feud) and the Undertaker - a 9 year old me believed every word he said.

Only dip in and out these days but none of the current roster get close to these in my book.

Unless they play up to it and he actually turns heel in the process?

Although I do think Ambrose should hold the belt until at least Summerslam.
